Man, I wish I had the same outlook as you on loving early access. I've been burned too many times at this point 😭(unless it's free to play like Palia) I agree it's a cool experience to get an early first look to provide input to the developers but at least in my experience EA releases end up either: a buggy unplayable mess, remaining in EA for years, the devs get their bag, and the game doesn't end up getting completed or features are overpromised/underdelivered. I'm now at the point where I just wait to pay money for a completed/polished game so my first impression isn't ruined causing me to lose interest by the time of full launch :/

Yes, I just save them for my wishlist but try to forget about them completely and focus on full released games because there are plenty of those

I'm the same way! Burned too many times as well! I wish this wasn't true but the sad truth is it is way more common than it should be! 💔 I'd much rather wait and pay for a complete product!

On the topic of seasons, playing so many farming Sims has made me realize how much I like Animal crossing's 24-hour clock. It was really awesome to have spring actually come around spring and nothing felt like a rush. I would love if this game did something similar.

There are some cozy games that have been gaming staples for me, from ACNH in 2020/2021, to Coral Island and Palia currently, to (I anticipate) Loftia in the future. I’d never heard of this game until now, but I can confidently say this will become one of those titles for me too. Everything from the graphics, to the characters, to the decor mode, to the pets, to the biomes, to the mechanics, speak to me and the type of games I end up falling in love with. Thanks for introducing me to this game Sarah, I can’t wait to play and to hopefully watch you play this on streams too

Same. That's why I have no plans to get this and Fae Farm after getting Coral Island, Sun Haven and My Time at Sandrock (around £45/$75 CA out of pocket). Plus, I might only play for like 10 hours as I have over 200 hours in Stardew and coral Island. Instead, I love listening to Sarah playing cozy games while doing things
