I have ordered mine 😝 I was gunna try lull but after researching a little I went with a puffy. I think purple is entirely too expensive wasn’t sure if it’d be worth the money.

we kept the mattress for a long time, and we kept going back to it after trying other beds. Unfortunately there were a couple of pee accidents and we couldn't get the smell out so we eventually gave it up :(

The kids are sleeping on a couple, we have one in the guest room, and we end up giving the others to family members or friends who need new mattresses :) (The Casper went to Salvation Army)

The Puffy is a much firmer mattress than the Puffy Lux...so how did this mattress become soft?

From your video, it sounds like you are still are using the Novosbed in the house. I watched the review video of the Novosbed and you gave it high scores. This review gave the Puffy high scores also. I didn't hear you mention anything about the mattress being to hot or giving the "sweaty memory foam" feel. Does the mattress keep you cool? Torn between the Puffy and Novosbed. Thanks

Neither bed sleeps hot. They are both wonderful. The Novosbed does make you wait 30 days if you want to add the topper. The topper gives you a little more of a squish feeling when you first lay down, but both mattresses are fairly firm and supportive. We ended up keeping the Puffy on our bed and the kids are sleeping on the Novosbed, more out of lazyness of switching the mattresses than anything. I honestly can't decide which one I like better. I'm sorry, I know that's not very helpful, but I think either one you choose will be great :)

Great review. I went to their website and it says that it's best for back and side sleepers. My husband and I are stomach sleepers, would you suggest any of the beds you have tried?

With a lot of the softer mattresses if I woke up sleeping on my stomach I knew I'd have a bad back day, but I haven't had any issues since we switched to this mattress. For me I need to not arch my back so I think the firmer mattress helps. Usually firmer mattresses are uncomfortable for side sleeping which is how I usually fall asleep. I really liked the Novosbed too, I would say that's my second favorite. Eight just came out with 2 new mattresses. We tried the "Saturn" which I really liked, but Colin hated. We both really love the Puffy, so that is the one we are sticking with for now :) I don't know if any of them claim to be better for stomach sleepers, but this has been my experience. I hope it's helpful :)

no we haven't tried the new model. Honestly now that we've had this mattress for almost a year I feel like it has gotten a lot softer! It was my favorite for a long time, but eventually I just felt like it wasn't holding up :/

Rebecca Reviews That doesn't surprise me. Puffy doesn't give out the densities for their mattress layers anymore, but when they did, they were pretty low. I want to say the top layer was under 3PCF and the bottom support layer was 1.5PCF. For durability, you want the comfort layers to be 3PCF or higher and the support layer should be at least 1.8PCF. Plus, their warranty only covers sags/indents over 1.5", which is the standard for innerspring/hybrids' warranty. It's twice the standard for a memory foam mattress warranty. The amount of back pain you suffer in to get until you get to over 1.5" would be unbearable!

Amerisleep is AMAZING! It's closest to Tempurpedic you can find online. I don't work for them. Just tried the AS3 last year and LOVED it; however, it was a bit too soft, so I returned it. I'm thinking about trying their AS2 instead, which is supposed to be for stomach and back sleepers, but I'd recommend the AS3 to any combo sleeper. Nothing else has been able to compete with their quality!

I used to love the Puffy, but it got a lot softer over time. At this point we prefer the dream cloud. Puffy has another mattress which we haven’t tried, but at this point the Dream Cloud wins ;)

They both feel firm at first, but I think the Puffy feels a bit more like traditional memory foam. the Puffy mattress was overall better for my back and the one we are still sleeping on. We gave the Nectar to Colin's brother and he loves it :)

Loved your review, am super concerned about the body heat retaining factor. My experience has been unfortunately, those toppers or memory foam mattresses that claim not to hold your body heat .. I've woken up numerous times throughout the night feeling like I'm sleeping on something that's being heated from underneath. Has your experience been that the mattress truly does stay cool? Also, I'm constantly having to ask my fiance to turn the other way(way his bear snore ensues) so when he flips around, the transfer of his "angrily" having to roll over, I feel as tho I'm in a wave pool! Is this ALSO a good mattress to put the end to that as well? Any response would be appreciated!

Colin and I hardly ever agree on which mattress we like better, but we both love the Puffy and that's the one we've been sleeping on for months now. My in-laws had a Sleep Number for 10+ years and loved it, but when it finally gave out they replaced it with the Novosbed. She seems to like it a lot, he LOVES it. The good thing about all these bed in a box mattresses is that you can always return them if you don't like them. I would recommend giving them a good 3 weeks before making a final decision. I know that can seem like a long time when you are dealing with back pain, but in the end it could be worth it :)

Joneide Oliveira have you heard or tried helix? They have custom memory foam beds made to order for each side, depending on how soft or firm you prefer. They are the most custom bed in a box I know of out there for now.

I own a temper pedic that’s 10+ yrs old we handed down to our teen daughter and it never ever felt hot always a normal feel to it it’s still an amazing bed not sure it that’s just due to the brand! Our current bed it way too firm (regrets even buying a new mattress) and we are now mattress hunting again!
