Thanks for sharing the video! For some reason, the video quality is limited to 144p. Is it expected?
@SoundFishing20203 жыл бұрын
No, all videos are shot in 1080p. Maybe check your settings? Hopefully it will be clear. Thanks

It’s not clear but info was helpful. Thank you 🙏

Thank you for letting me know. I'm not sure why sometimes it is a low quality video.

It's a great beach for clams. Did you get oysters too when you went? There are quite a few on the beach.

I’ve been trying to find a good spot for manila clams. Is this at the Oakland bay recreation area?
@SoundFishing20202 жыл бұрын
Yes it is and it is an excellent beach for manila clams. North bay is also a real nice place to clam too.

Where do you park? I tried the public access just north of the store yesterday but the whole beach was mud and muck I didn't find any clams at all
@SoundFishing20202 жыл бұрын
Park at the WDFW parking area. The clams are out towards the tip of the penninsula. Once you get there the mud goes away and it's just small rocks. Here are the map coordinates to the area I'm talking about. 47.247208,-123.038196

@@SoundFishing2020 thank you I dug around where the trail hit the beach for an hour between the high tide line and the creek bed and all I found was a few places of knee deep muck lol

The clams don’t breathe up all the oxygen? I’m about to try this for the first time in 3 days
@SoundFishing20207 ай бұрын
We purge them overnight in the saltwater with no issues. If you are going to keep them longer you can place a damp towel or cloth over them and put them in your fridge. They will last 3-4 days like that. As always, never eat a dead or open clam that won't close.

@@SoundFishing2020 thank you! I started doing this because I was looking for sea glass and I talked to this guy that said he was gonna go look for oysters and I just asked if I could tag along. That happened in January then I started crabbing where people at the docks told me to go razor clamming. I’m so grateful I was shown how to get oysters because now my life is way more fun!

Razor Clams are amazing! You can't beat being able to harvest your own food. Nothing beats fresh seafood!
