If you forget the water or just don't bother then you can cover the top crust after, say, 40 minutes into baking, with tin foil to stop it from burning or scorching from the long bake.

I've just been down the local boozer with hubby for some Gadds' Green Hop ale. At 4.8 ABV it goes down a treat. There's nowt better than a pie and a pint. 😻

Simon, I’m 4000 miles away in America. I’m watching you review a food I’ll never eat. Still, I enjoy your videos because you seem to be a regular guy, who doesn’t proclaim himself to be an expert, giving an honest review and opinion on things you’re interested in. As far as I can tell you have no agenda and just enjoy having a beer and some simple food. Problem with pies at this price point is they’re all pastry and high calories. The filling is often tasty but always way too much pastry for my liking. I’d chuck most of the pastry away because it’s crap.

£3 is not a bad price for a large pie, thats less than some small ready meals. Your right though, Pukka are being woke and PC by taking the word Christmas off their product in the aim of trying not to offend minority groups like ethnics and radical bigoted atheists..........so I use Christmas more often as a result as i'm proud of my country and its Christian heritage.
