Glad you asked, her name is Lee Michelle. She is a 25 year old half black and half Korean, her dad had to do service in S. Korea I believe but I'm not sure and that's how he met her mother. Her parents split and he went back to the US leaving Michelle and her older sister behind. Growing up she was ofc teased for being biracial as well as her features esp her skin which was what Without You was about. She was on the first season of Kpop Star along with other phenomenal contestants like Lee Hi, Park Jimin of 15&, Baek A-yeon, Lee Seungwoon of Winner, and Park Jaeyeon of Day6. She didn't win as she came in 6th of the final 10. YG signed her to his label as well as Lee Hi, both girls including 3 more I believe were going to debut as Su: Pearls. But being YG he didn't let them debut and gave Hi a solo so the group split. Michelle had released some songs like Without You, That's Okay, and I Can Sing. She decided to focus on school and got her alma mater at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Art. I kinda lost track of her after a while and I guess she's taking another chance by rapping. Which I'm not surprised bc in her song I Can Sing she raps a verse and it was fire 🔥🔥🔥. So yeah, that's Lee Michelle aka the queen aka H0t FyRer!! Oh and she can speak some English, she struggles but her English is very good imo.

@@valeriedeluna3694 the shunning thing I think is more to do with the show she was on before this one - she got voted off by the public very early on the competition in relation to how talented she was. There were still people in the competition that that she was undeniably more talented than. One of the judges (JYP) commented after she was eliminated that the public need to be more open minded. Additionally - when it comes to the industry in general - half white idols such as vernon from seventeen, nancy from momoland and somi are often considered the visuals of their groups and their appearances are hyped up alot. While lee michelle despite being a better singer and rapper than the majority of them (this isn't an insult to them btw they are all very hard workers) gets little attention.
