Mani kozhukatai is a small balls sundal like snack which is called as ammini kozhukattai or mani kolukatai or kozhukatai sundal which can be prepared as neivethiyam on vinayagar chaturthi. This is a very healthy dish as very little amount of oil goes into the preparation hence it makes for a healthy and light snack. They can be made both sweet or spicy depending on your preference.

One of our traditional receipy. We also make parppu kozhukattai sundal. We boil Thur dhaal and adding the ghee thalippu with kadugu, urud & bengal dhal with red chillies, hing and coconut thuruval , kari leaves, then adding the mashed dhal and finally the mani kozhukattai. We call as UNDRALLU ....in telugu meaning rounds /balls....
