I know this is an older video, and the last comment posted was a year ago; however, the quality of this recipe is still there. Thank you for the fabulous recipe. I made this yesterday to go with our meal for dinner and this pull-apart garlic bread was absolutely delicious. Near the end, I thought it was going to come down to a fight to grab that last one. I weighed the dough as you instructed during your video and being consistent with the weight allowed me to roll 24 balls in total. I did not put the bowl in the middle of my pan as you did because a dip would not have gone with what we were eating. Nor did I bake them in a cast iron pan. I baked them in a round glass casserole dish instead. The texture came out okay, but I have a feeling that the texture would have been more rustic if I had baked them in my cast iron pan. I will try that the next time especially when we are having spaghetti. My husband was begging me to make another pan after the 24 pieces had been eaten. I have a feeling this recipe will be requested regularly in our home. Have a great day!

Same here. There's no room in my kitchen for a stand mixer, anyway. I have to say I disagree that you need a thermometer to measure the water temperature. If you put a few drops on your wrist as if you are checking the temperature of a baby bottle, and it feels warm but not hot, you've got it.

Back in the days, my mom would make bread and cover it and put it on top of the dryer and turn it on to make it rise faster. Also during Thanksgiving she would make a dish and do the same thing so all the sides came out warm when it was time to eat ( I do it now). Stories from a broke/ poor childhood...lol

AB. Great video. I have no critizms it's a lot of fun watching you cook. But a few tips I'd you don't mind. Tip #1: Rapid Rise yeast does not need to be bloomed. As long as the date on the package is not expired the yeast will be good. You can add it directly to your flour. As a dry ingredient. Tip#2 DON'T add salt to your yeast mixture if you are blooming it. The whole idea of blooming yeast is to see if it's active. adding salt to your yeast bloom does what? Oh You in the back row? Yes you are correct. It kills the yeast before it has a chance to activate. You will notice this because your dough ball will not rise as well as it should. Salt is used to control the rise of the dough. Simply add the salt to your dry ingredients and move on. Tip#3 only bloom Active Dry Yeast. Not rapid rise yeast (see number 1) not the live yeast cakes or instant dry yeast. Hope this helps your baking out a little more. That looked so good I might make it myself
