Thanks for the video. Mine's similar, but not the same. Your video gave me the clues needed to replace the pull cord. Of course, there's always that moment. This time it was when the recoil spring popping out. After trying to re-insert a coils at a time, I gave up on that method. I ended up carefully recoiling the spring under my hand on a work table, then when the coil was small enough, carefully clamping the coiled spring with a needle nose locking pliers. I was able to insert the coiled spring into the holder on the trimmer and resume replacing the cording.

Great job roy you made that look easy i say that because i have got the exact same strimmer and when my pull cord broke i fixed it went out on a job first pull and the handle come off so to do it all again and i bet i have had the strimmer for over 15 years now might be longer 👍👍👍👍

Everytime i put the unit back together the string pulls out but not in until I open it back up. Why?
