i don't think that its a bad thing. Things change. Look at how Korn changed. how linking park changed. These are bad changes in my opinion and very big ones. Trivium didn't change that much and it still kicks ass. They sound a little bit more like Disturbed now.

Fotis Aronis I like that they have alternative and prog elements even though I love their core and little piece of thrash. Metal is Metal , no matter the genre.

Marcelo Bassalo agreed. In the case of linking park however i doubt they can be called metal anymore :S They have different fans now though and they are still successful, its just that i am a bit nostalgic i guess =P
