Pulled over in our van by MEXICAN POLICE on the way to Baja (we need to leave)

I guess you could say it's been a wild ride here in Mexico and we're excited to get over to Baja and make our way to the USA. I guess sometimes you just really have to experience ALL THE THINGS...Crazy how much can happen in just a few weeks!

Hello! I Love your videos. I hope I will someday be able to live the van life just as you. I was very excited when I saw you were going to Baja since I am from La Paz. If you are still there, I suggest you visit Balandra Beach, Cerritos and Todos Santos. Also, you should check out Mango Blues Tacos and Capuccino Restaurant, those are my favorite vegan restaurants in the city. Hope you have a great stay in Baja and that you get back home safely.

I'm so glad you all are feeling better! Next time this happens, take you camera to the back of the van and record out of the window. This way you can see what happens during the stop. Cameras preserves the truth!

Must be very careful in Mexico. If you piss off la policia they will throw you en El Bote (jail) and you will get worked over real good. Best to lay low, smile, pay the bribes and get out. Anyone who thinks Mexico is safe es muy estupido. Follow ALL laws including speed. Giving tickets generates revenue for these poverty stricken places. The state of Sonora is safer in the special tourist zone and Mexicans I know don't go driving down into Mexico!

@@vanhallaadventures fear is a natural life preservative. There are reasons to fear certain things, and this is what causes us to make wise decisions. But I think you might be confusing fear with common sense, and logic. I’m not suggesting to live in fear, I am suggesting that you make wise choices, and safe ones. Going to Mexico doesn’t fall into that category for me.
