I’ve done this trip a few times with YC but I finally procured my own boat capable of this run. Your videos are helpful. I live on BPK so it will be a similar run for me. I’ll be running a 36’ Cat with quad Mercs. I’m wondering about the fuel bladder. Thx for all your help!

Good stuff on this video. I've never really been offshore like that, but it certainly looked like it would be worth it. Every time I am in the Keys I fish from shore Keep up the good work Micky C

I know everyone wants to know, Capt Matt, how long it took to get out there, and how much fuel you used to get there. Great video! Your vids are always fun!

Good question! I believe the freeman 34 holds 400 gallons and we had an extra 100 gallon bladder. I think it was around 5 hours each way!!!

Yes it is worth going according to the video. But man better get cocky with that long haul and have some fun with ur buddies. God bless be safe. Enjoyed.

Good video, but if you knew you were going to catch that, you likely would not have run there. That said, anything can happen out there and you don't know till you go.
@marathonsportfishing2 ай бұрын
You are absolutly correct. We ran on a full moon, the bit was slow per Paul who makes the run frequently. Nevertheless we caught a bunch of fish, different species and had an adventure. Somedays its more about the trip vs the catch.

You got that right! Travis (who got blamed for the gaff) was a bit exhausted most of the day! How's the sword bit been up by you guys. The week of the 13th I caught 3 (one was the 223) lost 1 the same size, in 3 trips.
@davidfidel-st1ke2 ай бұрын
@@marathonsportfishing Yes it's been pretty good lately. We caught the last two out of three trips. The bigger one was 83". Keep up the good work down there !
