2 offset 6' mowers behind a good 72" belly mower on a sub compact allowed me to do 7 acres in no time. All with a little garden tractor!! It mowed a 16 foot patch.

The Branson did a great job. I never pilled a batwing. Sometimes my suspense factor can be tough on me until I hook it up an try it. Great job, Hank. Sometimes I freak out on doing some things until I've done it once or twice then the comfort factor kicks in a bit. It ran as smooth as a baby's behind. Have a fine week. 👍🏽🙂

Our friend who passes a couple years ago was 90 all he had for the last 40 years was a massey ferguson 135 and a massey ferguson 255 He used a 15ft batwing on the 255 and ran round baler and square baler with the 255, the man mades thousands upon thousands of round bales and thousands of square bales and no telling how many thousands of acres over 40 years batwing mowing and it was a 55hp tractor.

We pull our Bushwacker 12' Batwing with a 2020 Kubota M7060. Its 71 HP and does great with the bushhog but the fields we cut only get cut once a year and are usually anywhere from 3'-5' tall and it definitely pulls the tractor down in thick brush, but its a great match. Enjoy your videos hank!

Nice video but I thought you were going to put that Branson to the test doing some bush hogging with that 12ft woods, not mow the lawn. I’ve got a 5220 open station with a FEL. Been using it going on 4 years now. I love my Branson. Great little chore tractor but I doubt it would have enough hp to cut anything with that 12ft bat wing taller than what you showed in the video.

Nice video. Love the drone footage. What make model do you use? I always heard you need 5HP per foot of rotary cutter. So, in theory a 12’ cutter would need a 60HP tractor. Give it take.

Oh wow that's just lawn mowing lol i pull a 15 ft batwing with a 160 horse and its not enough in 5 ft tall grass or in corn stalk stubble . I cut about 5 miles of road sides and waterways in farm fields and do it usually 2 times a year. Woods are made about 45 miles from me so its hard to beat them on price even the kubota dealers push them over the Land Pride Name . If its made by woods its a batwing wing mower lol they own that name and were the 1st and its the longest lasting one i have neighbors with the 1st woods batwings made in late 1950s still goin .
