Glad you had a little breakthrough with the dries. Sometimes it's just the perfect time to throw them. I still mostly use nymphs and streamers but an evening of catching surface sippers is a blast. The brooks in lake 2 (shown) are doing way better than they have been for a long time. Love the distracted catch.

Hey mate, I’m here in Australia NSW and I’m looking for some pointers about catching some brook trout, brownies or rainbow trout. We go to a river, and all we have is some lures, spinners and bait. We mainly use Berkeley’s rainbow powerbait trout nuggets. Any tips would be greatly appreciated mate! ❤️🇦🇺

Just trying to make things a little easier, if you cut up from the butt and then cut the head and pull, all the guts will come out also. if a body of water is large and deep, it's a lake; if it's short and shallow, it's a pond. Some people in the West cannot decipher between a lake and a pond. So here it is.

Next catch&cook with brookies, try salt, pepper, thyme, and real butter. Leave the heads on and eat the cheek meat too.

I caught my first trout today, beautiful dinky little brook but I spent like 4 hours chasing a big ass rainbow up and down the stream. Never ended up landing it but I swear, them sons of bitches have not seen the last of me.

Northern Quebec is a Mecca for monster fish, but like me in NewBrunswick Canada I have to drive 2 or 3 hours to get any decent fish. Love your videos, nice to see your progress with the fly rod. It’s really great to watch a channel that’s not freaking annoying as hell. 👍
