@sanoma digital people had to do it because of those reasons too, but surely there was a time when ancient humans found a new plant or animal and had to figure out if it was good to eat. i mean, you know many modern vegetables and fruit were cultivated from not very edible versions

I got so surprised when I saw the Tagalog subtitles lmao it's so accurate and nice but like it's my first time seeing a youtuber use that language as subtitles. Majority of Filipinos who uses youtube is fluent in English so we just survive with English here. I really appreciate it as a native Filipino, makes me love this guy more other than his fun content.

At 3:56 The fluid sac you asked about. That's most likely a sac used for moving the tube feet, as they use a hydraulic system to move! Also, the "intestines" you saw might be the gonads and the Pyloric caeca (which are organs that help digestion similar to intestines)

@@frenchpotato5661 I didn’t imply that he doesn’t know what he’s eating. I said he is brave. The taste and smell of fish guts is atrocious. I imagine cooking the fish with the guts inside might lead to that bitter smell and taste “leaking” into the flesh. You have to be brave to smell that and still eat it.

That is a really interesting point that you bring up, when you asked if anything eats this starfish. Seeing as everything in the ocean gets eaten by something, that's how you become so confident that it is edible. It's just so amazing how different your mentality is than mine. Greetings from America I just tried your recipe of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and saki it is great only thing is fresh water fish needs about twenty minutes to soak but you are dead correct about soak time on ocean fish .keep up the vids we love them!!
