Idk what it is about your videos... but they inspire and calm me. Seriously man. Keep going. These machines will test your patience, faith and willingness to proceed. DSM stands for Demented Sociopathic Machine... Don’t let it dominate you.

I feel you. One thing after the other with my daily, and right when I felt I was doing fine, the timing belt skipped teeth and ruined the motor and i missed the biggest car meet in Montana. I don't have a shop so it's sits until springtime comes for me to figure out what I will do with it then😔 this year is a rough year but it's not going to stop me from loving dsm's!

The whine is from the belt being too tight it will also side load the gears and tear up the aluminum and seals to cause further leaks.

Oh boy. My manual talon has a supercharged oil pump whine, but no oil leaks. I'm halfway to becoming my favorite DSM KZbinr (ok maybe tied with Jaffro). Hope you're finding stuff to keep ya happy man!

That’s a heck of a compliment. I hated that whine, cannot continue haha. Hopefully the new one is better

@@Al3xTalon agreed brother, we just got hit with Hurricane Zeta last night. We took a direct hit, it was pretty bad. It looks like a bomb was dropped. And there’s another Hurricane brewing in the Caribbean...😒

Yo alex. I need some advice on my 1G 1991 eagle talon. Rn this is the mods I am running STOCK BLOCK and HEAD FP EXHAUST MANIFOLD 16G Turbo @ 23PSI HALTECH 1500 STANDALONE ECU AEM WIDEBAND GAUGE 5 speed manual FWD E91 pump gas everything else is STOCK How far can I push the engine om stock internals Do I need headstuds? As of.the moment my 1G makes 300WHP 290~ TRQ @ 23PSI What mods or anything could I do to make more power. I know E85 would help but as of the moment im running E91
@Al3xTalon4 жыл бұрын
To make more power you’ll definitely need more fuel. Then yeah head studs and what not. That’s opening up a big can of worms my friend, be careful haha

Really not that bad to do but pulling these motors is so damn easy, can have mine out in about 30 minutes.
