Man I just found your channel and my mind is blown with all the cool projects you have done. I REALLY REALLY need some help with a drifter bug. I love how you have the Tamiya bug set up. I want to do something similar. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Can I make this bug a drifter? Or get a different chassis set up and get a bug body somewhere else? Please help me man.

The m06 chassis could be a rwd drifter. Mine doesn’t drift well due to the excessive camber I have on it. These bug bodies are hard to find right now. Tamiya releases their stuff every hand full of years. I think mst makes some mini scale drift chassis as well. And I’ve seen some other versions of the beetle body on eBay too. Lots of options out there.

@@RCeveryday ever seen anyone covert a traxxas slash to a drifter? Proline makes a Baja bug body. I just don’t know if I can get wheels and tires that would tuck under wheel Wells or atleast be flush.

Man a slash based rig would be huge compared to mine. Finding wheels to look right would be next to impossible. All the drift car stuff is 1/10 touring car platforms. Even the beetle is smaller than those with the tamiya M-chassis

Love the vw on fuchs. Camper looks great behind it. Maybe try a steering balljoint for the hitch, it'll look more realistic and snap together if you drill or ream the coupler slightly. Also kinda want to see the camper on drift tires too now, getting them both sideways
