I’ve never heard real 8200, but these two samples definitely sound different, B has a lot more high end. But I found that plug-in sound great, and really love that it has a built in deesser.

@@gffg387 Interesting! The difference is huge, and I guess the alignment from the plug-in itself varies strongly in the frequency and decibel range, wich isn't unusual for a plug-in.

If you match the curves with plugin doctor then no. If you rely on plugin to be calibrated to your specific unit you get differences.
