Surprised no one has used a pulse jet engine for an experimental aircraft. That would be an interesting project. I'm thinking you could make a pretty fast single seat light airplane relatively cheap with this engine. Not sure if the FAA would be happy about it.

It's a augmentor. It's a nozzle that drags along extra air on every pulse, makes more thrust.
