When I was a kid we put a horizontal shaft lawnmower engine on a sled, drive was 3 or 4 sprockets from bicycles welded together. My friend was selected for test run, couldn't steer it and went thru thin ice into 3-4 feet of water. He had to go and drag the sled out. We also mounted it on a 3 speed bike with a banana seat, it would do about 30 mph with 2 people on it. We were stopped by the cops in every town around.

@billybobjoetoe34493 ай бұрын

@me262omlett2 ай бұрын
It take in air from the shorter nozzle pointing back. Valveless pulse jets sound like they shouldn't work yet they do.
@SubvertTheState2 ай бұрын
The combustion chamber is nearer to the intake side. The hot exhaust gases get sucked back into the vacuum after the explosion, and so does fresh air and fuel into the combustion chamber. Once the hot exhaust gases hit the already primed chamber, another deflagration wave ignites.

I don't know the weight of the engine and the vehicle. If it is not big, with the addition of wings it could fly.
@lilgodzillr5 күн бұрын
The way to do it would be to use a wing from a paramotor trike, as it'll be big enough to support all the weight and wouldn't require massive amounts of engineering to make it actually fly, let alone fly safely. The wing might catch on fire, however, and weight distribution will have to be worked out.
