This movie already catches my attention. The sense of eerieness and creepiness here, all because of scammy links and sites and that, is unbelievable. Hope to check it out when I get the chance. Thanks for another fun video, Ian. Hope you and all the DanDans have a good week, and stay safe.😊❤️

@@616Entertainmentmy first thought was Mandy cause when I think of it, all I see is Nic Cage bathed in red.

The Castlevania music is always awesome to hear. Thank goodness for unlicensed music! Yet another film I’ve never heard of. Goddammit, Ian! Thanks for the effort and ass-pain you’ve been going through this month. More horror is always better-even that one about the killer sofa and Llamageddon.

This is one of those movies from a time when I was seeing movies SO frequently that, today, I couldn’t tell you which I’ve seen and which I haven’t. I feel like I’d have seen this because of Kristen Bell, but I may have been thinking of some other equally blue Underworld-lighting style horror deal haha. Great video as always!

The phantoms got too involved in the DENNIS system, that's what really happened, and the striking resemblance.

Dennis would certainly click that link, and inadvertently save the world because the ghosts would close the door themselves to keep the gang from coming in. Great video as always sir. Cheers

I seen you dropped this video and noticed this was on Tubi. I remember watching this when I younger and yeah was a good re watch. Okay now I can watch scream sequence.

Yeah, definitely check out the original. And while you at it: Kiyoshi Kurosawas "Kyua/Cure" from 1997 is also quite recommendable - if you haven't already seen it. That's an underrated gem! :)

That phantom was a five star phantom before the internet and he is a five star phantom now. A golden phantom. A finisher phantom. That phantom's rage has become untethered and it knows no bounds. But yeah sadly Pulse does not hold up. I always wondered how this could be the end of the world. Could they not just wait for the power to shut off? Then the wi-fi and internet in general goes away. Cutting off their access into our world? This movie was a mess.

Pulse has an effective start, but as the movie progresses, it's gets so boring that you have to check the timer every 5 mins. to see when the movie will end. The only saving grace is Kristen Bell. I watched it once in 2007 (I was 17) & I totally forgot I own one of those kiosk-only DVDs.

I did find the movie disappointing like a pretty cool concept but the movie is so damn BLUE the entire time.

In Japanese mythology, red is a adverse color for spirits. So the red tape forms barriers against the spirits. Ive noticed American remakes of Japanese movies try to stay true, but don't try to offer explanations to what is being seen, because there was never explanations in the originals because they didn't need them. Never watched the American version, but I do own the Japanese. It's good, but much bleaker

I remember going to the theater with a friend and we walked out halfway through, the movie was a bit too silly 😹 Went back home and played guitar hero. No regerts 👌chill review, hope you don't forget about it in 5 year and review it again 🤣

If you had to be stuck in a Groundhog Day loop, being in one discovering Pulse doesn't hold up sounds like a fairly low stakes lol.

Movie might've been better if Johnathan Tucker was in it longer. Probably not for the other reasons you mentioned, lol. But man is he a super underrated actor. I left a similar comment on the texas chainsaw vid, maybe you seen it maybe you didn't, so here we go again, lol. Tucker is AMAZING!!! in a show im almost positive you will love if you haven't seen it. Its called "Kingdom" with Tucker, Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Kiele Sanchez, about a family MMA gym & fighters. If you haven't, check it out... I really really think you'll dig it. Not blowing smoke, i tell anyone who will listen to watch it, & the one who have loved it.

The Japanese version is way more better than its American counterparts. JP Pulse is way more scarier, even down to its opening. Seriously you need to watch the original one.

What did you want? I tell you where it came from, go through the plot, talk about the director and his work, the original Japanese version, give my thoughts and opinions, share personal stories, etc. I don't know what's missing.

The japenese one is far better this is just a American generic remake I like the ring and the grudge American remakes not the grudge reboot or this.
