Didn't see this question, so yes I would say almost a year down the line I use it frequently. I can't compare to the full size but besides tracking kick and running bass guitar out through it, it sounds miles better then a plugin. Would I buy another? No but only because I use an API 5500 as my main buss EQ. The rest of my eq's are for tracking since I try to stay as analog as possible. Hopes this helps. Def worth having at least one Pultec for sure.

So a year down the line, what do I think? Well it's better than a plugin for sure since I've been moving away from plugins for various reasons. I use it for Bass guitar as a send out and kick drum on the way in. It does the the low end cut and boast very nicely. The top is pretty nice as well. The only issue is is that it is very clean and doesn't provide any mojo but that being said I do run kick and bass out through this and into my API5500b dual mono eq for extra tone shaping (mids) and back into the DAW through my Burl B2 Bomber so I get the mojo in other ways. I wanted to have two of these for mix buss but decided against it and went for the API 5500b instead. I don't regret the purchase since as a send out it does what it is designed to do plus for tracking it works great on kick.
