I usually listen to your podcasts on Apple Podcasts, but today I’m watching it instead. That said, keep doing what your doing. The banter between the 3 of you is what keeps me interested and going on my easy runs.

I'm all about audiobooks. I can listen to them all day without having to stop and actually read. That's all I listen to on my runs. Went through like 2 Harry Potter books on my last ultra 😂.

My sister and nephew met Weird Al at Minnesota State Fair back stage (15 yrs.ago?). He was extremely kind and shy. Her son was huge fan, starstruck. Al signed his Converse and chatted with him, made people wait. Very sweet. ❤❤

Re: Japan, having been there often thanks to nearly annual Cleveland Orchestra tours for many years, I have one suggestion: Spend some time seeing all floors of any major department store. It’s like getting a cultural tour in that along with what you’d expect in a modern dept. store, there are also entire floors for kimonos (which are like a fabric museum and stunning) as well as all sorts of traditional old-Japan items. You can also spend a lot of time grazing in the bottom floor, which is where the food hall is typically found. Absolutely 🤩 and you can eat your way through it! What I found most interesting about Japan in general is that it’s modern, but decidedly not Western, which is like nowhere else I’ve been.

Robbe you should definitely go camping if you can. Honestly, you’ll experience a ton more of Japanese culture if you do. Tokyo is a great place but it’s really just another big city. You’d have a blast and the language barrier wouldn’t even be something to worry about.

I went and seen Weird Al a few months ago. I’m not sure he played a single cover song it was all his own music.
