Great comparison vlog Fordy. I love my velocity 2’s. I never thought I would be running in a puma shoe but they have nailed it for me. I always stuck with NB or ASICS for daily trainers.

I’m really liking the Velocity 1 & looking forward to taking it to 250-300 miles. Comfort is amazing with it!

Great Video as always 👍🏻 Absolutely love the Floatride from version 1 to 4 all brilliant I found that I can do longer miles in them too, even did the virtual marathon last in them 😳😅 What’s the difference between the puma Velocity and Electrify??

10 months on and I finally have both of these. Like both. But I LOVE the reeboks. Anything up to 15 miles I reckon is good in them. I’d even go further. Bought a second pair. The pumas are decent but I doubt I’ll buy a second pair. They’re both outstanding value. I ended up paying £50 for the pumas and £52.50 for the reeboks. So good.

I bought the FR4 and didn’t like them to begin with. Sent the first pair back as too big in my normal size 9 and went down to an 8.5 which is now spot on. Haven’t done anything longer than a 10k and I’m really enjoying them. Can’t see any reason why I won’t use them up to at least 10 miles. For daily use at all sorts of pace these are perfect for me. All for £56 👍🏻.

Nice updated information on the models. Thanks Chris. I have both of the originals with lots of miles to go on both. Solid daily trainers. I agree my Energy 3's sweet spot is 6 to 10mile workouts or midrange, not the long runs.

Hey, could you make a comparison between the Puma Velocity Nitro 2 and the Hoka Mach 5? At the moment I'm running the Puma Velocity Nitro and I'm absolutely happy with it. But I think the Hoka Mach 5 is a very interesting shoe as well. Best regards from Cologne. Christoph

Would the velocity be ok for runs over 13 miles? Or will it kill my legs?

i want to try velocity 2 but i'm worried about breathability because of our hot and humid weather

I have fitted both and opted for the reebok as I found the Puma much tighter at the toe box I've a fairly wide foot .

Chris, between cumulus 24 n velocity nitro 2 as a daily trainer, which will you buy?
@FordyRuns2 жыл бұрын
I’ve not tried the cumulus 24 I’m afraid so I’d go new balance 1080 v12 🤣

How would you describe the Puma's midsole softness please? Is it like the Fuelcell of the Rebel v2? ZoomX of the Invincible? UD Foam of the Craft CTM Ultra 2? Would you do 2 - 3hour Long Run in the Puma pls? Thanks.

I have and it’s ok over that distance combined with the puma grip it was a nicer experience than the new peg

Hello Fordy, thank you for a great channel. I have the new Nimbus 24. Would you go for the Velocity 2 rather than the Nimbus? I have very narrow feet (B last). I am still able to return the 24’s. Best Philip from Copenhagen👍

For me the Puma is a slipper I can wear outdoors. It's super comfortable even without socks. With that being said for running I much prefer My nimbus 24. More stable, better fit, more bounce. I have not tried to reebok and most likely won't. Can't get past the looks of it or the quality.

The middlesole of energy is like boost?
@Reggy92 жыл бұрын
Pretty close to Boost yes, but Floatride is lighter.
@dr22w2 жыл бұрын
People say so but having been with Reebok since the Floatride 1, FR is much firmer with a quicker bounce if you know what I mean. Boost is much squishy, the rebound is slower and doesn't make me want to push the pace. That's the best I can do with words. You have to try it for yourself.
