FYI, drummer, David, is not only hysterical, he won Germany's The Bachelorette. And...his family owns a home in Poland...so when Ukraine was invaded, he spent a couple weeks driving supplies to the border and bringing refugees back with him. Talented band, decent humans!

For me as a German guy - the way you talk about us makes me proud. Most of the times you can't be proud as a german because our history is Fd up. The moments I found out they were coming to the United States AND found out they were coming to my state, those tix were bought! I played their music for my siblings to hear. I later heard my youngest heard my youngest niece (9 ish) humming the audience part as she was walking thru the house. I did my job 😁

Let me help you Americans with the Lyrics for your part. They're pretty simple. Just sing "Döp dödödödöpp" and repeat. You might find out, that "döp" is the single most useful EC vocabulary there is to learn. It can be used in quite a few of their songs. You're welcome!

Actually i had a real bowlcut in Hannover, that survived that night. I still don´t understand how, cause i never banged so hard and long on a single concert, but it was awesome. Samford is local to me here in Bham! Hope he is enjoying some shows in town at places like Saturn. Hope he is enjoying the town. Vulcan is the Roman god of the forge and red mountain is called that because they mined iron ore from it. The old smeltery/forge is Sloss Furnace which hosts all kinds of events and concerts on the site (the use the sloped loading dock area for shows) it’s one of the coolest venues for hard rock/metal acts as they rusted industrial surroundings are so cool. Less shows currently as the new director apparently doesn’t like that vibe but us locals are giving them hell for cutting back on the actual fun stuff they have done there.

I know a lot of grads from Samford. Not the easiest school to get into. Its a very good school academically,so congrats! I used to attend basketball camp there when i was young and we would live in the dorms at 12 y/o for a week.....I'm not sure if they even let kids do that anymore. lol.

Dude, if he's going to go to Samford, you need to come to Bama in September and go to Furnace Fest at Sloss Furnace. I'm going to go on the last day. I think the lineup is better than the other two day's. They have Mastodon, In Flames, Spiritbox, and a bunch of other good band's. Look it up and see what ya think. I thought that I saw that Gojira was going to be there too.
