Pumpkin android radio steering wheel controls

I've used the same radio but with a different brand name. I used the vanku px5. I installed it without having to connect it to an steering wheel module /interface on my Honda CR-Z.

So pin 5 wire connects to K1 and the ground wire from the radio?

Madison Pro Audio there is a wire named gnd next to key 1, that is the one you have to use

@@theivy113 I have 2010 Honda Insight. Is it same - Pin 16 to K2 and Pin 5 to K1 ? and where to connect ground ?

I found mine to be pin2 and pin13. I presume SWC1 will connect to pin 2 and SWC2 to pin13. Will this work or do I have to connect any of the wire to ground

When you say ground wire... Do you mean the ground wire coming from the original honda harness or the one for the pumpkin radio itself... I'm having trouble getting this to work on my 2002 honda accord... Also where did you find the correct pins for your honda - Thanks

Ii originally bought the metra axxes steering wheel control but I couldn't make work and I follow all the instructions in how to connect it but I couldn't make it work but I used the same pins to connect it directly to the radio key 1 and key 2 wires. here's the link axxessinterfaces.com search for your vehicle and it will show you which pins to use . I hope it helps
