I think people underestimate how much trust plays a factor in ASMR. You have someone speaking to + looking directly at you in a very intimate way. This craft can have slight hypnotic effects due to the relaxation it induces + watching often can make you vulnerable emotionally. Maria is the ONLY artist I watch + listen to for this reason + she has always done an amazing job of making me feel safe over the last 5 years 💛

Back when I did hair, I would have classified her a slightly warm-leaning neutral. It's hard for those of us with very fair (or very dark) complexions to figure out our undertones, LOL. Fair gals get pink in the face easily, so we think, "Oh, we're obviously cool!"

I know you probably won’t be able to see this because it’s an old video and you get so many comments, but I just wanted to offer my thanks to you. I struggle with bipolar 1 and I’ve been struggling with it moreso in these past few weeks/months in particular. It’s hard for me to fall asleep due to my anxiety even with sleeping medication. But your asmr helps me let go of some of that anxiety and allow myself to relax. You’re always one of the channels I come back to the most.
