at least at the time of writing, much like episode 1, this episode of PUNCH PUNCH FOREVER! seemingly does not show up in youtube search results, on my end and a couple of other people who checked. my channel isn't shadowbanned, but for some reason, PPF seemingly is! maybe one day we can find a solution for why this has happened twice now, but until then, your support, comments, fanart and sharing PPF is really very much appreciated, as knowing people are actively looking for it but can't find it on youtube is a bit disheartening. i'm still gonna keep making PPF regardless because its fun and i like doing it. i might make a video further addressing this issue, we'll see. anyways thanks guys! or just watch it on Newgrounds! you can actually find it there!

Really enjoyed the first episode but this one is absolutely brilliant, I don’t normally laugh out loud at movies and videos but the writing and timing here was so consistently well done I was laughing every 20 seconds or so, massive props, love this series a whole lot! It's a really small detail in the grand scheme of things, but I really like how the cut on Gogo's cheek actually stayed there instead of just dissapearing two scenes later. It really helps add extra tension to the fight, as silly as the whole thing is.

If anyone is curious where the "bright colored object is the moving one" thing came from, it's how older cartoons were animated. The background would be on a bottom layer, then in layers on top of that you'd have moving objects, then characters, whatever else on a clear film. This allowed them to add action without having to redraw the background every frame. Although clear, the layers would shift colors slightly and block some light. So the objects characters would interact with would appear brighter meaning the audience would always get queued in on what things aren't part of the background and likely to be interacted with. It's why the tree gag works. "The bright thing is the moving thing" expectation gets subverted because computers work on layers that don't color shift.

And not to mention backgrounds usually were painterly, whereas things that were supposed to be animated usually had clear linework and were mostly painted in color flats. This way, you could almost always know just by looking at a frame what the characters were going to interact with.
