I dont know if you mean an indicator in whether you have an item in your inventory or have it cataloged in the nook stop but you can look at the catalog on your phone anytime instead of having to go to the machine to check. I think you get the app after purchasing a certain amount at the machine though.

Funny. Reminded me of trying to get Zucker and he wanted, I think a cardboard bed which needed 4 boxes. I panicked. Luckily I had 4 in storage. Zucker is my newest villager and I’m working on Marshal. I pretty much want all new villagers. I’m glad I kept my Amiibo cards. Hopefully Coco, Pietro, Stitches, Julian, Chèvre and someone else will join my (ugly, a work in progress) island in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the laugh and congrats.

For Nookazon, all you have to do make an account that contains your discord info, add a listing for your specific flower hybrids on the site, and an interested buyer will DM you. After that, you'll need to trade friend codes so they can use shovels on your island, invite them over, let them take some flowers, and they will pay you the agreed amount. It's fairly straightforward.
