This makes us so hungry!! It’s also funny hearing the constant honking in the background. How is filming in India for you both? In terms of having the camera out and putting it on people and places and food?
@samuelandaudrey6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Great question! To be honest out of every country I've visited for filming India is the best. People are friendly and generally happy to be on camera. There is always some thing interesting happening on the streets and often if we let people know we're making a food video at a restaurant we'll get access to the kitchen to film.

Nice video as always. At about 5:50, when you asked your host if it was aloo, I guess he did not comprehend. He said yeah, it's called rajma. Aloo is potato, and rajma is red kidney beans. Seconds later, I guess it was dahi puri, not pani puri. If it has curd, probably dahi puri.

On board, I felt this dish was a heart attack Cant try soo many curries But the best part was the paneer, curd, n sweets… N one suggestion guys, since such a meal needs a dozen n a half folks to finish, wen u leave, ask restaurant owners to give this leftover to some. Homeless poor kids… india still has below povery n poor n malnutritioned kids N pls take care of ur tunmies…am sure I can see moments wen lots is said n done for camera, butu folks still doin a great job…hope ur belly's r intact… cheers n the thali wad humoungous :o

Pani Puri comes under a category of Indian Food called 'Chaat'. What you had there was not Pani Puri, but something called Dahi Puri, where Dahi is the curd. You could eat those with a spoon after breaking them down and eating like a little salad. Pani Puri does not have the sweet curd or potato sev on top of it and the chutney in Pani Puri comes in the water form (Pani means water) and in what you had, the chutneys were slightly in a semi solid (sauce) form. Still comes under Chaat though and is delicious, especially in Pune, where I stay.

What comes to mind when trying this huge thali ( थाली) is just the sheer size of it! When it was being brought out to our table my jaw almost dropped. However, it is not just a publicity stunt as the ingredients and dishes you find on this Indian Thali are delicious and vary from savorty to spicy to sweet. The challenge of trying to finish this Bahubali Thali was just too much for David and I. We had to tap out after sampling a bit of everything with most of the Thali still on the plate. David's Been Here: kzbin.info... Some of my favorite items from the Thali included the incredible parantha, masala curry with paneer, galub jamun and lass. The concept of a Thali is to offer all 6 different flavors of sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on a single plate and this Indian Thali certainly delivered in this regard. On this giant thali some of the following dishes were served: 1) Paratha 2) 7 Vegetable dishes and curries 3) Pani Puri 4) Curd 5) Katappa Biryani 6) Jeera Rice 7) Boondi Raita 😎 Chur chur naan 9) Gulab Jamun 10) Moong Dal Halwa 11) Lassi 12) Chaas If you're considering a giant thali to share with friends and family be sure to check out this restaurant in Pune, India: House Of Paratha Indian restaurant Address: Cat No. 1206, B-19, J.m. @@samuelandaudrey Bakasura is a demon in Hindu epic Mahabharata who devoured large quantity of food and people too😀. So I meant that the thali is so huge it suits a person with Bakasura appetite to finish up😀
