Pune to Mysore 950 kms in a day by Scorpio 😊 Longest one day trip!

This was our first trip with new Scorpio. We started from Pune at 4.30 am and reached 8 pm so around 15.5 hrs. The roads are really good and absolutely no Ghat sections but I enjoyed the last lap if 160 kms just 20 kms before Tumkur to Mysore which is kind if internal road which takes us thru village full of coconut and beetle trees. It was quite anr a sense of achievement. #roadtrip #scorpio #mahindra #pune #mysore #longest
1. New car is registered on chasis number as vehicle no is not allotted you may face difficulty in recharging fastag. Ensure that fastag recharge is done before start of journey.
2. First get tank full in Pune and then in Nipani Karnataka where diesel rates are cheaper by 5 to 10 rs. 3. There is no good hotel near Hubali on highway for almost 2 hrs so get some fruits in route.
4. Better you keep on Banglore highway until reach Banglore Mysore highway that's the fastest route.

Great Video!! It's Fortunate for you, to drive last year!! This year, they are adding one lane, from Shendre( Satara) onwards, God knows upto where!! Karad flyover is not complete!! All 10-15 k.m. stretch from karad is diverted!! I have decided not to drive on this road,unless, Bengaluru to Shendre( Satara) three lanes one side( six lanes ) are completed!! It took us 5 & half hours to travel from Pune to Kolhapur!! Horrible!?! We went in the first week of February!! Once you climb down the Ajyinketara valley, Shendre comes & diversion starts!! My friends tell me that six laning is under construction beyond kagal also!!😢

True, Have been to Goa for Motoverse event in Nov. last year and have seen the traffic jam, it’s worse condition from Satara till Belgam 😊

Dr. Narendra - From Kolhapur you will save 3.5 hrs time than Pune and mainly traffic. roads after Nipani is almost straight and may take 8 hrs for car. All the best and Enjoy the ride.

Nice video i have done from Mysore to Delhi 5 times in my diesel Swift with one night stay and from Bangalore to Pune in 11 HRS in my same diesel Swift 🎉🤙

I have also done in 11 hrs earlier in diesel swift we can go upto 140 at streight road but Scorpio gets air resistance so better drive around 100 to 110 max. Disel swift is still my favourite power drive.

I am planning a road trip from Ahmedabad to Pune, Pune to Tumkur/Tumakuru, Tumakuru to Kochi. total 1936 km .Divided in 3 parts. Any good hotel you seen in tumakuru. ?

Start early in morning to avoid traffic till Kolhapur then road is good and you need to have food as from Belgaon to Hubali, rest is ok. Mysore to Ooty via Bandipur is the best scenic view refer blog below. Happy journey 😊

Upto Mysore its highway no problem you can travel any time. But from Mysore to ooty you need to go via forest so entry after 8 am and Exit before 6 pm is compulsary. You need to drive cautiously during forest. Rest no issue. Enjoy your drive, all the best !

I never experienced this kind of incidence on road in any of the trip however the basic is never stop at unknow place for any reason. We usually take brake in about 2 to 3 hrs in long journey and frankly before entering restaurant usually see that families are sitting already so we can go with family and kids. Getting fresh is also to be done either at restaurants or petrol pump so its safe and prefer travel in day light which is more safer.

Take Pune Banglore highway till (Satara , Kolhapur, hubali ) Sira or Tumkuru and from there right to Mysore by passing Banglore this way you save a distance of 80 km and 2 hrs.

Pune - take Satara - Banglore highway drive straight to to hiryur / Sira or Tumkuru take right for Mysore you can go Mysore directly instead going to Banglore. However Hiryur or Sira rods are small town roads whereas from Tumkuru the roads is 3 lane

Hi ,this is the first time myself, my fiance and our friend traveled to goa week before and while coming back on a way to Hubballi road highway we stopped the car for nature's call, as they both got down and few guys came there and started harassing we 3 and also hit our friend without no reason and also broke our car back glass .. it was so disturbing and im unable to overcome this trauma and scared to go on road trip.. and also we don't want to sit back just scared and as u told u traveled much to goa , just wanted to share this to you.. if you can suggest some safety measures and safe routes..

☝🏻1. Never stop while sun is saying see you tomorrow 2. Never stop after any village till 10 KM 3. Install a big Siren sound in car which has two switches front and back. 4. Sh*t happens...take it as a speed breaker not a road block, travel on the same road at least twice, it will kill the fear. GOOD LUCK🤞
