Because the game isnt very realistic about the japonese culture. There are a lot of buildings that are chinese, many animations are bugged, and of course, the protagonist. People were hyped to play in Japan with japanese people, NOT AN AFRICAN. And the history about Yasuke isnt even real, they took a fanfic and said that was the real history, that this guy was a legend, that he was THE samurai and etc. If you want, there is a video of people that REALLY understands japanese culture, i think the name is "drunken japanese over reacts assassins creed shadows" or something like that. Btw, sorry for the english.

Yasuke existed. He was an African mercenary who came to Japan in the late 16th century as a bodyguard for the Jesuits and became Oda Nobunaga's bodyguard. Ubisoft didn't put him in because they wanted to, it makes sense.

Not very hopeful for this game, considering I'm a fan of the older AC games (pre-RPG nonsense). The UI is still bloated, the parkour/movement system still looks stiff and grid-locked, and the leveling is RPG-like. I will say the animations for Nawe's techniques are refreshing, the combat system is a lot more engaging, and the world is stunning as usual, but it won't be enough for me to buy the game at launch. I probably won't buy it ever. But I'm not dismissing the game entirely. I've wanted an AC in Japan since Liberation, so I'll try to see the positives after a full release and actual reviews.

Not an interesting game. For some reason, Assassin creed 2 ended and in subsequent parts this game turned into a tedious, heavy arcade game that is painful to pass even Unity and the one about walking on ships is stuffy, except for the moment with investments and the organization of shipyards. The only good news is that the graphics and animation are better than in Stalker 2
