Little nitpick here, why is Yasuke’s armor and horse more decked out than Nobunaga’s? Nobunaga is the clan leader… if anything his horse at the very least should be the one in that badass horse armor or at least brandishing its own equally badass looking horse armor.

There are things Ubisoft still needs to work on before they even have a chance at making a comeback as a solid studio. One of the things people have been pointing out is the lack of facial animations that really makes the characters feel alive. It’s been a consistent issue since Odyssey. Secondly, voice acting. Voice acting started really getting meh when Valhalla came out. Odyssey has its flaws with it as well but in terms of MC voice acting, Odyssey does it best. (Technically Imo in terms of the most recent games, Origins has the best Voice acting in the RPG trilogy, but in terms of when Ubisoft started falling, it’s odyssey) The voice acting in this just sounds somewhat flat with little emotion. MAYBE this could be the start of Assassins Creed making its comeback, but it all depends on whether Ubisoft wants to take that initiative or not. As for the people who keep bashing others for buying the game, don’t. I have no doubt in my mind some of you have bought a game from a company that’s hated and you enjoy it. People enjoy different games and that’s how it’s always been. Let the players play what they want. You can voice that you disagree with that, but let’s remain civil and not attack each other over it.

What you said is true. The most important flaw is facial expressions. A bad facial expression can ruin the best voice acting eg. Basim's VA did a good Voice acting but the Facial expressions were horrible. Assassins creed Shadow shouldn't have dropped Social stealth

but before Odyssey facial animations were non existed in side quests, with rare exceptions. so it boils down to matter of sheer amount of dialogues. you cant have some high class animations for hundreds hours of dialogues like some rockstar

Combat doesn't look that good, terrible voice acting and mouth animation, what is going on? They were so good a few games ago what happened to the original team? As a long time AC fan im disappointed, they shouldn't have made the game fit for new players they should keep the game how it should be, i hope they'll fix all the problems when it get released

From what I’ve read in the comments so far, apparently some changes have been made. Can someone fill me in on these changes? I ask because so far, the cutscenes feel cheap with Naoe. Facial mapping and voice lines feel clunky and emotionless. Honestly makes me wonder why they didn’t consider doing motion capture for most of the game like Origins… Seriously how did we get here with these half baked cut scenes?
