AWESOME build as always! Maybe put a hole in the back of launcher plate the you could screw the prop nuke that isn't meant to be fired and a lower grade rubber band so it could still function but just for show that way it wouldn't fire but still kinda work....just a thought. Also everyone is saying make weapons come on you need a nuka cola machine...made out of a working mini fridge with glowing nuka cola quantum in the door for looks...I know making a full size would be crazy...😁 But I have ideas for that..I'll leave that out unless someone wants to hear it.

If you're going to use surgical tubing in the same way, how about doubling back on itself and adding twists, though the twists will influence the trajectory because it'll try to untwist itself as it's released ( things where the projectile sits in something that doesn't have a guide to go down.)

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but... Technically the foregrip is not a fixed component but is also the charging handle like on a bolt action rifle or the pump on a pump action shotgun. You are supposed lift the foregrip up to the left side and pull it back to bring the sled to the fireing position and then you move the handle back forward and down to verticle (like a bolt action firearm) to once again become the foregrip

Where do you get your 30mm thick foam? I'm assuming that's how thick it looks.

This video is a couple years old now, but your glue burn brings up a hint. When working with hot glue, keep a bowl of ice water near by... If you get hot glue on you, immediately dip the affected area in the water... The ice water will pull the heat out of the hot glue stopping the continued burn. It will also pulls the heat out of your tissue, thus reducing the severity of the burn.
