That demo of reverse on the foredom is the best argument for upgrading from my dremel I've seen yet. Still not sold on the upgrade but its now on my "someday" list whereas before I didn't see the point based on the duty cycles I put my dremel through and how well it met my needs.

Was exactly why I even CAME to this video! I saw the thumnail, and thought 'Cyberpunk?? That looks to ME more like Ratchet's Omniwrench!'... Of course, when I reviewed the Omniwrench 8000, I realized how different it was (pointing straight out rather than to the side)... Props to masterninjason: The Drillwrench or Sigma Breaker from Dark Cloud 2 are also potential callbacks to the 'Everything in One' tool concept. Nice call.

if you want to make the belt fit, you could replace the bottom threads with a gear teeth going around it and make an additional support piece for the bottom of the thread attached to the central piece like a tension relief for the belt.

Very cool prop. If you want to have twisted pairs of wire, measure twice the length you would like for two strands of wire, clamp one end of them together, run them parallel two each other and place the other end into the chuck of a drill, tighten the chuck, them slowly run the drill until the wires are completely twist together.

Ooh, ooh! I have a thread trick for you! To keep your threads nice and even, use 2 identical strips and lay them down right next to each other. But, only glue one of them and remove the other when you're done. That way the spacing between turns remains very even and precise looking, like it was machined, but it didn't take any longer!

And because my brain works at trying to make things more functional looking, I have some changes for you. Mount the motor further down to where the belt disc aligns below the screw shaft and add a pulley wheel to the screw shaft that the belt goes around. Also add air vents to the motor housing for cooling.

The Whammer looks great! The only minor (personal taste) improvement I'd suggest is dirtying up the pipe a bit, that bright shiny metallic look doesn't exactly match the rest of the build, but even with that it was a great video and cool prop.
