The upgrades were fun part of paintball back in the days everyone guns were unique now everyone have cookie cutter setups. That explain why everyone is now seeking gear from the past.

The thing is, if the scene is healthy and there is demand, companies aftermarket parts will spring up even if the stock parts are actually the best. Partly for the customization aspect, partly because people love the game and the guns so much they want to research parts and tinker and play with it. No aftermarket parts is actually a bad sign.

I agree! But at the same time, mam was it expensive. These days i just wanna buy something that works and shoots well

Ok so. The thing with hoseless markers that nobody mentions is. If your hpr starts to go. It can cause the solenoid to leak or leaks can pop up out of the breech/out of the back cap due to extra pressure going by. That can lead to you following false problems and going on a goose chase. So unless the hpr is removable/swappable and you have another hoseless proprietary hpr, diagnosing is going to be a slight headache unless you decide to disassemble the hpr

Mech is making a comeback. Matt even plays space gun tournaments with a mech.

Definitely miss the uniqueness of markers. You could tune them to be super smooth but they don’t rip fast or you could get a machine gun going at the cost of smoothness. But now it’s all kind of the same...

that is why I stick with bob long.

The Emek is no joke. Best mech I've used in 20+ years. But to talk about the mech "revival" without mentioning the Autococker, while still mentioning the AC thread being ubiquitous throughout the game, is a definite miss in this video.

Still love the older markers. Maybe because the early 2000’s were my time, but also the price of markers are crazy today

Can you guys do a video of older Dye markers (DM13 and below) :)

I miss counting led flashes and sweet spotting your hpr and lpr
@johnnystock72942 жыл бұрын
Honestly yeah. Nice point about modern markers xdefinitely harder to mess them up on a software level compared to some of the older stuff (cough cough vapors). And often times you can just grab and go.

So the tippmann crossover XVR is the fastest from switching electronic to mech gun. It literally took 1 second.. If tippmann ever came back out with that gun and added an OLED Screen… it would sell.
@anthonybertram11682 жыл бұрын
Why did you guys compare a $400 gun to a $1600 flagship marker at the beginning of the video? Of course the $1600 won’t have a macro line, will have a screen, and will have every feature possibly available at the time. What you should have done was compare the Dye Rize RZR to the Proto Reflex Rail and you would have found them to be EXTREMELY similar. Seriously, what were you thinking? This video started off on a bad foot and should probably get redone.

One thing y'all are wrong with about the gog enmey, it is NOT autococker threaded it is ion threaded

Yes, you are correct. Our apologies!
@66mymouse Жыл бұрын
Yeah but the cost was a lot less. So there was room for upgrades.
@trevorjtorres Жыл бұрын
Nah. There were no affordable markers being made by high end companies. Ion was the only thing under 500 that wasn’t a spyder. I had an ion them git the pmr. But all the fricken composite parts were cheap as hell. Etek was the best but 750 for a kid was too much fir me
