I’ve been using a rotor since 2009, and had 0 issues. Apart from it being difficult to change the lid/speed feed, it will forever be my go to. Now the LTR being $99….I see it being the best value loader overall. Especially after seeing spire after spire explode on virtually every paintball video as of late.

Yea definitely I’ve stuck with the Rotor’s simply cuz it’s been a reliable work horse for me, especially when I do uncapped semi. The Spires on the other hand I’ve seen to many people personally have theirs split open in half as you said, it’s mostly from dives which I take quite often so I’d rather not risk that possibly. Also when I tried the spire I was not a fan of how the spire feeds from the back vs the front like the dye rotors, because it’s constantly whines trying to feed when it can’t pick up while the guns pointed down.

I also think the OG Rotor is the workhorse! Fast, reliable, durable(rubberish plastic compared to the say…. Halo) simple, easy clean. And affordable.

The CRTL is the best loader based several factors. Easiest to take apart and clean. Easy to change batteries or charge n-charge No jam ( no need for jamming trigger) No breakage inside Has optional spring loaded ramps.(holds slightly over a pod with both installed) Speed feed is an easy install. Swap on the fly in seconds. Lid sits low and doesn’t have bumps for paintballs to break. Very smooth finish!

Got my Ctrl on a sale with ramps for 160$ from the website last year has been easily my favorite hopper love the profile. Fyi after extensive testing 188 balls is what the Ctrl holds if you stuff it but I got the 40+ shell

The CTRL has 4 larger capacity shells available currently, +20, 40, 60 and 80. The Protoyz Speedster is a classic revolution in a Rotor type shell. Rock solid and no issues besides it's big and heavy, but very balanced. One loader that should have been continued but was discontinued is the Valken VSL. Feeds great, good size and weight and has an excellent capacity, with an expansion ring. It's also 50 cal capable. I've used everything from the early Revvys and Halos to rotors, r2, spires, quantum, and currently have my old Revvy, a speedster, a VSL and a CTRL with the standard shell and a +80. I like the CTRL but I'm still holding on to my Revvy

Virtue spire 4 is the best in my opinion. Only downfall is that the neck is a little to thin. The OG dye rotors are good too. Never got a jam on a rotor

Not hating or anything and I don’t know if you guys sell them for around $250 but on the virtue and bunkerkings websites they are selling the ctrl loader for $170 right now it did start around 250 but it’s a lot cheaper now it’s a pretty good price

Getting into paintball again after many years, actually learning more about it now, trying to get into right. My question: Can i use the electronic hoppers gravity fed or without the battery? just curious because when I used an electronic uears ago, it was loud and I played and still will play woods ball.
@ljandrew2012 Жыл бұрын
The new ones dont make alot of noise my ltr you only hear it when it feeds which the gun sounds overpower it so you pretty much never notice it.

Best speed feed for a Halo is a garbage disposal splash guard.

Should I get the Ir2 or ctrl?
@zackzittel7683 Жыл бұрын
I wonder if there’s a market for a really low profile light 120rnd hopper, it would need custom slimmer90 round pods….. but man I play with a cat that uses a 50 round hopper and 50 round pods (they shoulda made it a 60-70 round so you don’t have to waste paint or wait til completely empty to reload) but that hopper is tough to shoot.

Can we get a shooting video to compare bps
@DownwardFlame2 жыл бұрын
Vmax will max out at about 15bps
@duffy1298 Жыл бұрын
I just don’t get why anybody would want anything other than the ir2
@tdbeez Жыл бұрын
the Vmax breaks down all the way without tools. the screws that was referred to in the video are for holding the plastic piece that connects the two halves together. the middle piece/ramp/insert pulls right out. no tools necessary. you guys really should have familiarized yourselves with the hoppers before you did this video.

The halo needs to die an honerable death. Heavy, (ink if they improves the clutch to be easier on paint) and insanely fragile. I shot a kids halo 3x because we were close and I didn’t wanna shoot him, broke that shell to pieces. Field owner was nice enough to give me a steal on some kinda (spyder fasta?) for like $25 and I gave it to him. Not easy to take apart.
