I remember Bianca abystigma Vs Red mist Crimson Abyss(Babel alpha). Ffs that fight for me is too satisfying man, my andrenaline was spiking from excitement. Genshin boss fights looks and plays like a raid boss fight that you'd see in WoW or other MMOs, PGR boss fights look and plays like DMC bosses, and wuwa is a kind of inbetween where it is somewhere between a raid boss and an action game boss. ZZZ is just... a hp sponge. Genshin would be really good if they actually tried to make the boss fights be played with other people similar to WoW raids, where you actually have to work together to beat them. And then just do what WoW does and give a chance at special equipment to drop once in a while. Mihoyo games have their bosses feel very rigid and unresponsive just like raid bosses. But they dont allow raid parties and actual teamwork to make the gameplay interesting enough.

Should've used Bambinata, her moveset is gorgeous and the puppet on string design is amazing. Watching her fight is like watching a dance, it's just nice to look at. Bambinata is not littered with so many special effects like gen 2 character, but also not very basic like character from the launch, she just have enough special effects to make you appreciate what's going on. There's two boss which is Thundering Mephis but only on higher stages of Hologram where you can parry the clone and the main one and Crownless which is crazy at Winged form. Maybe 2.0 will introduce something like it that's not Hologram only. We still only have a few characters that can easily parry continuously.

They are using electric characters that applies the effect shock to the enemy. Shock cancel the enemy’s attack and if it’s a machine type then it will get stunned for a brief moment.

Thanks for this video, I no longer have any FOMO because I am already playing the best game (WuWa). If I was someone who never played genshin I would say it looks the most polished of all but having wasted 3 years on rage inducing fights (because of how badly they are designed) I no longer have that delusion. Wuthering Waves is basically anime style Elden Ring with beautiful open world, engaging gameplay and amazing character designs, I don’t think any game currently in market can peak that experience for me that I am getting in WuWa.

Impressive as in? Diffuculty peaked with the Raiden boss fight (not a high peak but meh). The thing is that Genshin weeklies are extremely polarized, Stormterror is a joke, Andrius has too little HP to even show his whole kit, Childe got nerfed because the babies cried, Azdaha is just a high damage shield check, Signora is just visually impressive but the fight is waiting twice for two DPS windows and DoT, Raiden is the only good fight, Scara is waiting for two DPS windows again, The guardian of Apep is DPS window followed by bad monolith defense followed by DPS window with a instakill mixed in, The Narwhal has some impresive music but that's about it, the whole fight is just waiting for that thing to do something and Finally Arlecchino that has like 5 mechanics that in the end don't matter because you can deal more DPS by ignoring them. Being honest if I wanted to brag about a Genshin fight I'd pick Raiden but it would be kind of fake advertisement since it's the only one that barely pads the timer (but still does it).

for Genshin at first, it was fun to learn about elemental reactions and experiments on them. but it's getting tiring at the end game. Wuwa combat is challenging. the bosses' movements are also fun to learn, the perfect dodge and parry is satisfying and rewarding after you learn about the bosses. especially in hologram bosses, they can kill you in 1 hit. it's not really casual player friendly though. I haven't played PGR that much and never touched ZZZ too.

This is a nice side by side of these games, it's kinda neat to see the direct comparison. And while I definitely prefer WuWa the most, I feel like the boss choice for Genshin could have been better. There has to be a better example of a Genshin boss fight than Scara; a fight you can win pretty much without attacking (the little floaty turret can do all the work).

The key difference here isn't actually difficulty. Wuwa bosses have pretty easy attacks to dodge, since you're expected to go hitless. The thing that makes them feel so intensive, is that they're almost always doing *something*. Periods where they stand still are brief. They size you up for a second or two at a time then go back to throwing attack patterns at you. Every other game here, EVEN PGR, the bosses have times placed into their kits for you to slap them with a full combo. For wuwa you have to earn those (and they aren't actually all that long either)

"Stand still" says the girl in ZZZ The robot attacked 6 times in almost 2 mins... The PGR enemy first fight took 45 seconds to do the same amount and it was with the intro cutscene and the stun being in there and around 30 seconds for Scar... Hell even Genshin took 1 minute for Scara to serve 6 really telegraphed slow attacks with a stun in the middle that ate like 10 seconds. Let that sink in, the enemy is somehow more passive than Genshin third slowest weekly. Well I guess ZZZ got a training dummy before Genshin.

that PGR showcase is a bit off. If you want to pick those 2 bosses, maybe show it when they hit their special moveset(?). Lamia is a long drawn-out fight, but the best part is after she stands on top of the tower and the battlefield becomes underwater. Hive best moments are, i think, parrying (shown here) and the acid rain. well those are my thoughts. Its sad that the chosen boss was not the twins or lilith.

Parrying doesn't really exist in ZZZ, or rather it's just extremely scuffed to the point that nobody uses it. WuWa also has more in-depth Vibrations, Concerto, Forte and Intro/Outro
