Here i am still coping with SS Alpha Crimson Abyss and SS Nanami Storm for my Physical Team with Alisa as my only source of Time Stop. Honestly Alpha isn't bad, i can still get to atleast Elite in Warzone. Epitaph is also in 2 teams, both Fire and Void/Nihil because of his extremely high defense shred (45% btw) and Void Luna Oblivion is coming soon which is 2-3 patches after the one we're on, with them adding a new Warzone and PPC Element, so Luna is a must pull as well. (Honestly though, you can use any tank for Void teams, but Watanabe is the best tank for that team, but you can actually just skip Wata and wait for Gen 3 Wanshi.

You can't wait that long but you will just forget about it at best and doesn't even needs strong patience, it's only "waiting" while you do other stuff like reading another manga or any digital-or-not books or just do some activities outside reading Now apply that analogy to PGR. When you wants a certain omn (Kuro, please continue un😭😭), you would have to wait for one month to one year and half (even if Kuro plans to speed up Global server to catch up with CN which received mixed opinions). However, you just focused on whatever the game offered such as (really) fun minigames that sometimes come with the patch event or "dead grinding". Without realizing, time has flashed before you could recall and the omn you have been eyeing for, has already come out.

For me the single fact that I can pretty much get every characters and most of their weapons with some cub means powercreep doesn't really bother me. Powercreep usually bothers me when I can't get every characters. But when I can get everyone I just sees it as an update. And powercreeps only matters for scores in warzone and paincage who don't give nearly enough rewards to even match what you'd use to get one character. A dude who has full SSS+ chars only gets like what, a few more skulls and warzone points, than someone with basic ss chars ?

The meta is important if you like to be in the top easily, but it is not mandatory, at least in Warzone you can be in Hero-Legend with your favorite characters if you know how to use them

I would also add the fact that Warzone barely caters towards the feature banner, like on this epitaph patch sometimes there is just no fire stage in the rotation, so having a more wide roster of teams benefit more than hyper invest into one team

the reason why it isnt so noticible for f2p is because u can still get the max rewards as long as u have one team that is invested enough for all content. maybe 2 and 3 are really needed most of the time but u are still getting most of the important rewards. as a f2p u already know you arent chasing the leaderboards so that why you don't really worry so much, which is unlike games like hsr

It's not even a matter of strength. I find that most new characters simply have more interesting rotations and abilities. Even after all this time, crimson abyss is still my most well built character and I hardly use her cuz she's so boring to play (admittedly I don't have her leap skills cuz they're so expensive)

Mech was subpar from day 1 and never had her time to shine. Luna got powercreeped by Karen a year before Lamia. Powercreep is so insanely huge in PGR that new tanks outclass dps completely. There are games with faster powercreep, but also games with way slower (and not as huge) powercreep.

Every new S rank character in PGR is a powercreep of an existing archetype. The only difference is that they release way slower than other gachas.

Well the basis of this video is to point out the nature of how slow power creep is in this gacha game compared to others. Also, I was only stating that the presence of meta is greater in Warzone than any other content, beyond that, meta is used to demolish content or gain an advantage in challenging content. In the end, it doesn't matter what you do, play how you want to play. Play for meta or play for the cool gameplay, that's all up to you. If you're not rolling for Epitaph, you'll be fine even if he's meta and recommended for your account.
