Comment Two of Two: The Pistols "Bollocks" with the "Submission" 7". That is one of the rarer gems. You are very fortunate to own that one. The Jam singles. Very very cool. Especially the French "All Around the World". Totally epic post Eli. I actually lost my first comment that I almost posted. I hit the backspace arrow by accident and lost it all. First off. Loving the shirt. Being a huge Weller/Jam fan. I never see any Style Council shirts. That is very cool. Nice to see you this evening Eli. May I say that I was completely enjoying your notebook. We must be very close in age. I was also sixteen in 1977. I saw Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd within a few weeks apart that year. Anyways. Back to the notebook. I really liked seeing your notes and little articles that you wrote. I especially dug hearing how blown away you were when you heard the Pistols for the first time on terrestrial radio. I also share a similar situation here on local Boston radio. I could tell that it really changed your musical horizons. Very cool Eli. The prog/psych record store that you went into tried to talk you out of buying some punk? That did happen back then. Some of the store clerks thought that it was their mission to only let you buy the music that they were into. {smile} It happened here too~ con't Rob/Boston

Hi Rob - I bought the shirt just recently at a gig by the tribute band: The Style Councillors . Interesting that we have similar experiences. What was your situation with your Boston radio? It seems that, all over the world, record stores sellers at that time had some kind of "a mission" to teach the world what is the "right" music... I still miss the most elusive poster of the "Bollocks". Probably someone from the record store took it and stick it to its wall before I bough the album. Shalom Eli !!!!!! Sex Pistols were meant to call their song God bless Eli, as he was heir biggest fan, but they had to show some respect to the Queen and changed it to God save the queen. Good job!!!!!
