Totally nude punk rock! It'd be nice to go out west again and see the museum. Someday, hopefully.

I’m gonna make a shorter version of it as well because watching anything for a half hour is a lot to ask of anyone. But I do believe this Venue is new enough, people have yet to see what it’s all about.

Ok, I really need to know the song from 3:40-5:37. I'm spending countless minutes into hours listening to the same thing again and again trying to at least make out what they're saying so I could look it up myself, but no dice. Help please.

Please tell me what the name of the song is that's playing almost at the beginning of the video, like the first five minutes?
@MoshMob Жыл бұрын
It is called Giant Microphone by Con Davison! Sorry it took so long for the response!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So much appreciation for you searching these songs for me, also too, thank you for being patient with me too. I know I sounded like a kid in a candy store looking for these songs, but when I heard Hey Judy's song, I was like "Yes, this is the song. This is going to be my go to song."@@MoshMob

My band, Blitzkrieg Bop (1977-79) donated three items to the museum, I looked closely and couldn't see them, maybe I missed them, maybe they are not on show yet?
@MoshMob Жыл бұрын
They do have quite a big variety still not on show yet and I did skip through certain things too quickly! I’ll definitely be back there soon!

Offspring is punk? I thought they were alternative
@MoshMob Жыл бұрын
There was a lot I was shocked by. The Used were Emo, I don’t know if I’d consider Green Day punk rock, a few songs here and there with each of these bands could be considered punk rock but hey, it’s all part of the same scene!
@JimmyNavioTV Жыл бұрын
Go listen to the album Smash by The Offspring. They used to be straight up 90s skate punk.
@stevenpivornik9982 Жыл бұрын
You're shocked about The Offspring being in this museum? You mean you aren't taken back by LL Cool J being in there?
@stevencorsoe9575 Жыл бұрын
Guess what?...You tagged it right,Offspring were alternative rock and had no part of the gardcore punk scene in the late 70s early 80s...none what so ever...should have researched the time of hardcore...a little note from "the gate keeper."
@stevencorsoe9575 Жыл бұрын
Just another Malcolm McClaren designer show as it was back in the late 70s early 80s.

You would have to have grown up into the scene...BYO,all ages shows and anti government music...like me a genxer(58 years old...born in 1965)this is not,and will never be the true hardcore scene...i think you should have researched a little before you presented the scene.

yOu ShOuLdVe ReSeArChEd… bro I made the video for people who will never get the chance to see this place, not for old gatekeepers. Sorry GG Allen isn’t hardcore enough for you.
@stevencorsoe9575 Жыл бұрын
@MoshMob Well,along with G.G.Allen(a true scumbag of the political scene.)and the Ramones(societal hacks and posers...along with many other hacks from that thing called "The punk rock movie".)I'm here to say that as a gate keeper it would be refreshing to get many from my generation to get accurate facts about the real political scene and not confuse the listener into thinking Adam and the ants or anyone incorporated by Malcolm McClaren was anything more than a fashion show to sell a look...as we know "Punk is not a look its an attitude"...Sorry to say.
@stevencorsoe9575 Жыл бұрын
And it's not selling because all of the purists are not rich and have never sold out.

@@stevencorsoe9575 you do realize Fat Mike from MXPX owns this spot? And how you gonna bring politics into this as a punk rock fan? The thing about any kind of music is you don’t have to know anything about it to enjoy it. Super stoked you were part of such an inclusive scene, so maybe try to share some valuable info in these comments instead of bashing people for not being alive during the peak of such an incredible era. Aquabats and Devo are as much a part of your generation as any unknown or underrated band or artist you could name.
@stevencorsoe9575 Жыл бұрын
@MoshMob Okay,Devo were a pseudo political band in many subversive ways,very very true but nobody then or now in my scene considered them punk,they were considered at most new wave or neo political...sorry to bash but as I said I grew up in the scene and discovered it when I was 12,14 years old...and very proud to say it.
