I just thought after seeing the full video… a long heavy and mid punches drive rush combo cancelled in lvl 2 followed by lvl1. Not sure it will be optimal, but that short video tells you that Zangief’s gonna hurt a lot.

Now Gief has a true answer for every guess on wake up. Jump on wakeup? Lvl 1 super. Wake up with a slow normal? Get light SPD’d. DP’d? Get blocked and destroyed. Worried about Gief coming out the air? Jokes on you. He empty jumped and you are already in the SDP animation.🤡 Gief mains are going to be eating out here for real. 💪🏾

+2 is actually better in SF6. Fastest normals are 4 framers and his spd is 5 frames. It's the sweet spot where blockstun has ended, meaning spd won't whiff, and your opponent can't mash lights to interrupt you.
