Harry Callaghans the punk with the eye makeup...rip Jody Campbell, skinhead resting on skinhead girl...rip Ray 'tan' Hanley, skinhead with moustache...rip. Decko was younger then the rest but right down in it. 'You cant kill a bad thing' All solid guys, uncomplicated and full of attitude. The skin chick stole my sister's handbag in the gpo 1980...Im still looking for her.

Very interesting to me since I was born in NYC as a kid to Irish parents but moved to Dublin at 8yrs old but moved back to NYC at 10 yrs old in the early 80s. Here in NYC we had all types, but my crew were metalheads vs. Italian guidos. I often wonder how I wouuld have been had I stayed in Dublin.

@prelaunchrocket4991 The skinhead subculture initially had nothing to do with race, it was solely a style associated with and subgenre of punk.

Imagine a Jet Black Nigerian dude was standing amongst them and mingling amongst them. He would get alot of racist comments thrown at him. But in typical Irish fashion they would say "we're only joking". Then they would continue to insult his Jet Black skin colour for the rest of the night whilst constantly patting him on the back and laughing.
