I used to say that but after watching these episodes again, I can tell he did it on purpose he only wanted to make his anime about Sasuke and Naruto. Sakura's a main character only because she's the love interest of Naruto and Sasuke's lover. See other characters like Temari, Kushina, and Konan: They may have the personality and the power ( which Sakura has them too btw ) but he barely showed it. Tsuna's the same too although she's one of the main Konoha cast. The problem is that the series started as team 7 so people expected more from Sakura in Shippuden but sadly it turned into Sasuke vs. Naruto so fast ( remember even Kakashi was left behind and only had one proper fight against one Akatsuki member ). Whoever the character is, Kishi doesn't care about it or give it more than 5 chapters if it's Sasuke, Naruto, or someone's so related to them ( Which is so stupid and weak )

Exactly. The only reason he loses is because of Sakura having his poison’s antidote (which the show emphasizes only Sakura or Tsunade could make) and that weird thing Sakura threw at him (which came out of nowhere, so seems like a deus ex machina, especially as it should work on others but is never mentioned again). If he fought against anyone else he would have a good chance of winning. Even among other members of Akatsuki, only Pain would probably be impossible to defeat due to his powers (and the likelihood of poison being ineffective on him due to his methods.

Reading the manga it was the most hyped, surprising, and exciting fight in all of Naruto next to Naruto vs Pain, but the animation didn't really hit expectations. The choreography was lacking compared to this fight here w/ Sasori. It's as if all the budget in those episodes were used for Guy's transformation and the highlight which was Night Guy, really delivered, but the rest just falls short becoming a DBZ style lazily animated lining after image fight, w/ 60% of the fight being still frames during the dialogue between the side characters of that fight (Kakashi, Minato, Gaara, Lee..). To me Guy vs Madara feel like it should be top 3, but in reality it's behind Sakura vs Sasori and 4 tail Naruto vs Oro which both had constant well choreographed high octane fight animations.

Sakura deserves it :D what i appreciate lots about Naruto's bad guys are they have abilities to surprise you, and they aren't push over like lots of other animes. They are very very hard to kill (i mean they're Akatsuki, S-ranks for a reason) plus with backstory for you to get to know who they are, why they are who they are right now...to make watchers appreciate/scare of the bad guys even more. This is Akatsuki's course level 1 to 20, there 80 more levels to go, lol.

Sasori's 100 puppets is a really good strategy, you can overwhelm the enemy with numbers, but if they are skilled enough to fight back, the puppets become stronger due the better control that Sasori can focus on them.

Exactly, and one can't afford to lose focus for a second. Plus the fact that as a puppet, Sasori doesn't experience fatigue or the need or any sustenance, meaning he can fight 24/7 for 365 days.. One slip, means a possible scratch, and one scratch means death. This makes Sasori one of the deadliest members of Akatsuki..

Sakura was dead weight to the point of screaming for help to a guy who is knocked out. And right here she is arguably stronger than Sasuke and Neji. She improved in mere three years enough to be close to the level of legendary Sannins. Sasuke and Neji are far behind that when it comes to improvement.

But here is the difference.Before Shippuden, while Rock Lee bustin his ass off training and mentored by Guy every day, Sakura literally did no training at all and only thinks about Sasuke. But even then, Kakashi said on multiple occasion that Sakura has a great chakra control, better than Sasuke who was the number 1 genius of the academy. Then suddenly she was taught by a legendary sannin. Training hard for very first time. So its not that weird that suddenly Sakura grew immensely when shippuden started.

In the sub, during the scene where Sakura yanks Sasori's chain, she says "Shanaro!" which is usually her "Cha!" in the dub, but you can't have a character with any kind of name similar to scorpion, where there's a rope, chain, or wire without making such a reference.

Nice reaction, The Normies! Battle Sasori vs Lady Chiyo & Sakura is one of *the best fight* in the whole Naruto series for me. Even I can say this fight is *the most original, creative, and unforgetable fight* Because there are many elements in the fight. Puppets, poisons, weapons, irons, fire, water, until antidote time limit. And don't forget the cool backsound. The existence of Lady Chiyo and Sakura make this fight more amazing. We can see, a grandmother and a weak girl (in the past), can get that great. Someone asked why Sakura was taken down after this arc. I think Kishimoto just want to give sama chance to other characters. So lets give other member of Akatsuki to other ninja. Fyi, actually this fight is in TOP 3 BEST FIGHT officially, according 3rd Databook

I'm pretty sure they won't assimilate this, but the reason why Sasori hates being kept waiting it's because Chiyo lied to him about his parents coming back from the war. For years he believed they were still alive. To some extent he holds a grudge against his granny because of that. Still... you guys will see (most likely already seen) in the following episodes that he loves his grandma nonetheless.
