Aaaah all this GB content is glorious!! I have my old beige flight suit still from uni... but earlier this year i found blue coveralls like Egon wears in the cartoon version!!! Where do i get a blonde pompadoor/cannoli wig though hmm... Happy GB3Day and happy early Halloween dudes and dudettes! Adam and crew you inspire me every day as a maker, costume lover and youtuber!!! Come to canada soon please, when it's safe! This is the way.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I love any kind of cosplay even if it's done on the cheap as long as there is love and passion put into it. As someone who very much appreciates super screen accuracy you certainly hit a point of diminishing returns because many of the specific screen accurate things almost nobody will notice except for you or maybe an extreme super fan. I've had to talk myself off the ledge with a few cosplay style Halloween costumes because I was becoming overly obsessed about making them super accurate but the time and money was increasing dramatically for a little nuance things that almost nobody would notice. The other thing to keep in mind at least for Halloween scenarios is that you're often in a darker club or atmosphere and therefore people don't really see your full detailed costume versus going to a con where you are in a well-lit facility and you can see far better.

True. That's an LC-1 ALICE pack with the skinny belt strap. I used an LC-2 with the fat belt strap. I prefer it 'cause it's easier to buckle for my proton pack.

So on the Hasbro spengler wand i didnt bother with a 3d printed grip replacement i cut out the chunky rubber from the top slicing it open (just at the top)unwraped it and then cut the lower section out to keep as the grip shape (i also trimmed it down as the shape wasnt what i wanted exactly) then used gaffers tape which i weathered first. This is so you dont have to waste material already on hand, also when i weathered the wand I also used a matt spray and a gloss spray for certain sections to enhance the metal look in certain areas of the weather job. for this i used the well known pictures of the real prop wand beside the hasbro one that has been floating around for a while now to weather it more accurately.

If you are willing to mod a cloth mask: I whip-stitched a pair of pipe cleaners along the top of mine. They last about 6 months but it only takes about 15 minutes. Work great to conform to the nose and are soft.

I am convinced though probably incorrectly that a lot of costume detail came from Stripes. I mean come on. The military tape and the military gear and a lot of the stuff. Great fictional idea I have here but isn't it fun to think that props reused stuff from Stripes into Ghostbusters. Like, Harold Ramis told props to reuse that stuff. Fictional I know but like I said fun to think about it.

Side note: I see nothing wrong with people choosing to get vaccinated if they want to do that. The problem is needing to show proof to go places and being forced to get it without having the choice. There are a lot of people who are all for getting vaccinated but are also against being forced to do it. Also, people who are against this are not all stupid. I for one was a military intelligence signals analyst in the past and am now in my final year for getting a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Don’t think anybody can say with any seriousness that I’m stupid. You are welcome to believe whatever you want though.
