That's from the 2nd half of a German fairy tale. The dark thing is, the German city of Hameln this story is based on really documented a massive case of missing children. The folks connected that to a piper. But the sudden disappearance of children really happened in the city and it is unknown to this day why and what happened to the children.

When I first watched this last movie of the original Sailor Moon, it was such a superb experience. Hearing it again it reminds me of my teen years.. such a bliss. This movie has never been broadcast or aired in France so when I got the DVD it was a total new experience with the Sailor Moon universe. It felt so different from the rest.
