I still have a contender in Slime. While he cannot be used ony every stage, he is the embodyment of high risk reward. And that reward is just the better. Also I love the fact that you used Stone in basically any stage here, yet he does his job so well that he completely flies under the radar. Literally hiding in plain sight

FR tho. I don't have rock but I can see how broken this is. I'm glad someone finally put two braincells together and realized M. Eraser isn't the best meatshield anymore considering the insane stats of mid to late game enemies. Another way I see rock is as a chipper. considering you can spam it every 4 seconds (2 even with research combos), thats like 2k dps, which seems bad, however this is more than cyberpunk who is one of the best chippers in the game. More importantly, just like how stone always stops enemies, another way to see it is that rock always hits enemies. Since you're using rock over the course of long battles, the damage will add up. At level 30, rock cat will can 123k damage in a minute. While it's likely its hitting different enemies since it onoly hits the frontline, that's still insane. There's a reason no one if you look on bc reddit that the only way people come up with a true form for rock is by inventing busted new abilities (I saw one example where rock got surge blocker)

The best unit in the game no questions asked, no conditions required and no qualifiers needed has to be, hands down, Izanagi. For some reason Izanagi hasn't entered the conversation yet despite it being MUCH better than even Dasli. Maybe because of it's extreme rarity for obtaining. Izanagi breaks the stages even more than Dasli does. He cleans up medium sized peons and bosses so quickly they don't get put any pressure like they were intended to do. For example Angel Otter is supposed to push your frontlines back and has extreme HP but Izanagi easily 3 shots it at 200%. Thus it isn't able to do it's job and stages becomes infinitely easier as a result. Yeah Dasli might be better in just pure spam stages but the actually threatening peons are present in few numbers and Izanagi takes them out much faster. The end game (post midway point of UL) has followed the ideology of few medium sized peons. Yeah, Dasli is also better into pure traitless but if a heavily treaitless stages has a single traited threat, Izanagi is worth considering. In my experience stages which Dasli beats in 5 minutes, Izanagi does in 3 minutes. Whatever little pushing power Stages can muster vs Dasli even tahat goes out the window for Izanagi. For example - Supper Hyppoh Max is one of the hardest stages in the game and Dasli is one of the best choices because she can get into Tackey's blindspot while still remaining outside Hyppoh's Range and has enough damage to take out the first Tackey before the second one appears. However, you might need to reset a few times if your Dasli isn't able to enter Tackey blindspot due to enemy spawn rng. Still she is great for this stage. Arguably your best option. Despite this, Izanagi still outperforms Dasli for this stage and he doesn't even outrange Hyppoh! He has enough HP to base tank it's hits and it two taps the Tackey which completely takes out the pressure of the stage. Thus, completely breaking it. Keep in mind that I am just saying Izanagi is better than Dasli, not that Dasli is bad. Dasli is still unbelievably broken but Izanagi is just superior. Which just goes to show how good Izanagi is.

As Canned Juice said, the best unit is very subjective due to the many ways you can determine what 'best' specifically means. In this case, you think that 'best' means the strongest at beating difficult enemies in general, which Izinagi fits quite well for. This means that Izinagi is not definitely the best unit. Also enjoy trying to beat traitless stages with him or use him in 4*, in fact he is completely unusable against enemies such as Heavenly Herald Papuu (unless you curse her).

@@Euan_Ma I would say my critera is the most game breaking unit. It's damage is so above and beyond other units that breaks stages on a fundamental level. Of course he is not usable on 4 star stages but that's a small subpart of already cleared chapters. And you can bring him on mixed traitless stages as well because he will take a huge traited threat out which will make the much easier. As for heavenly hearld pappu, who said he isn't usable there? He get 3 shots off on her with Curse Blast which is almost half her HP, speeding up the stage A LOT. You should do it in second half of the stage which will remove her strengthened phase and remove the difficult part of the stage.

I’ll be playing the Devil’s Advocate here so bear with me. “Best unit in the game” only pertains to the individual’s playstyle. If playing braindead is your goal then stacking Cyberpunk on *_some stages_* IS “better” than Dasli/Izanagi. Izanagi is stronger than Dasli in some situations and weaker in others. It’s all about perspective and flexibility not the “end all be all” narrative. Chasing ONLY Dasli and Izanagi and ignoring other units’ potential will only make your progression/skill worse. “The best unit in the game no questions asked, no conditions required, and no qualifiers.” sounds like a REALLY shitty biased take and lacks critical analysis in spirit. Secondly, that’s incorrect. Stone is better in universality by a very large margin as explained in the video with even less restraints for nearly optimal results. Dasli is arguably worse than Cyberstacking because the latter, despite not applicable in most stages, breaks ridiculously hard stages even more than either Dasli or Izanagi. *_In these stages_* Cyberpunk is objectively stronger yet only a small minority plays like this despite being an 100% infallible strategy because the majority of players don’t like waiting/have limited time and can only fathom “summon a single strongest Uber, meatshielding, and solo unga bunga” and forgoes the ‘strategy’ aspect of the game. Izangi struggles against Surges which lowers his viability on some stages. Aka stages are bad matchups for him. He’s a far cry from “no questions asked, no conditions required, and no qualifiers”. Dasli is a generic LD unit whose performance can be surpassed by other units frequently. She’s rarely the top pick for a stage but she’s the jack of all trades, master of none unit. Using her exclusively is hardly an “optimal” strategy because catering your team to the stage will always provide a more efficient solution. Dasli has a less than 0.1% chance of dropping because she’s an Uber drop competing with hundreds of other Uber drops. Izanagi is unironically more obtainable. You can cheese stages with Warlock and Pierre and Izanagi because his Summon is immune to Boss Shockwaves. Having a 2nd Cat Cannon is incredibly underrated in terms of comfort. I myself have a Lv.60+1 Dasli that I never use unless it’s for farming stages (including Barons). Playing the so-called objectively “correct” way doesn’t always make the game fun.

I think there is no actual “best” unit in the game, solely because of the diversity of the stages in the game. Sometimes even dasli cannot handle certain enemy combos, like boosted dolphinas and professor A. Some stages might let courier to shine at its best, but sometimes courier gets obliterated by long range high dps enemies. imo, it is just simply impossible to find the best unit for every scenario.
