Other than the overall gameplay, the audio design in enshrouded is absolutely phenomenal. Probably one of my favorite aspects about the game. Great video!

This is definitely my favorite game of 2024!! And I know I’ve told you this before but my absolute favorite thing about this game is the building! Most of my time spent on this game is spent building! I love experimenting with the building and figuring out how to do different things and figuring out what I do and don’t like for my buildings! Love this game so much! Also love the change in atmosphere and mood when you dive into the shroud! It’s so creepy, eerie and exciting at the same time! I just love it!

Very well-made video! Thank you. I would have some questions, tho. The server I could play together with my family on, do I set up my own server like I would for games like Minecraft, Conan Exiles or Ark Survival Evolved? Or do we have to play on official multiplayer servers? Are there mods available for Enshrouded? Any microtransactions in the game?

I've been playing 169.9 hours since I purchased the early access and I've enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. I expected to have fun, but I've sort of become a bit obsessed, in a fun way. I play solo games and I really enjoy the 3 options that are available. Doubt if I will ever do anything other than solo, but it's always nice to have options. Your videos are always helpful. I have two characters so far and will probably pick up at least one more. I tend to learn from one and carry that over to my oldest. I now have new ideas and I always seem to agree with your ideas. Thanks so much for doing these.

only issue with multiplayer that us HORRENDOUS, all info is server saved not character saved....meaning if things are done and your not on...your going to lose out on all of it so in all honesty i would play it all thru solo first otherwise things can EASILY be ruined for you unless your group is very in sync progression wise...

the building system is nice but not unique. it is something like an advanced minecraft building system... most other survival games have better building systems.. even the older ones. :P

This game was fun for a week. Then there's nothing to do. A game with 1 boss isn't worth the money. even on sale

Enshrouded is not a survival game at all lol. "Try not to die by NPCs" makes every game on the planet a survival game genre. Building? Minimal at best. You stated there are no limitations, when, there are. oh man, are there ever. As long as its a square; "anything". This is Minecraft 2023, nothing more, nothing less. The skill tree is 1.5 playable (read: not insta-death and viable) setups. Caster Mix (Wizard, mage, healer), or, melee with caster skills. Really, the game is made for ppl who do not, or, have never, played a building survival game. In that respect, your review makes sense.

On Steam and on their website it is described as “a survival, crafting, and action RPG game”. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I would disagree that building is minimal. In my opinion it’s not minimal at all especially if you take a look again what the community is creating. Of course, it’s a game and there are “limitations” but you CAN build creatively which is the point. Comparing it to Minecraft is crazzzy lmao! I’ve played a number of survival games such as ARK, Nightingale, Raft to name a few, and still enjoy this one. So idk what your point is. If you don’t like the game just say that lol.

Uhm Building is truly unique in this game. Just Check out some Builds. For Example the Builds from the recent Competition. Almost everything you can imagine can be build. And you can build very detailed builds. I played many survival games, have build in many games and never i experienced such a great building system. This one and Vallheims are my top Building Systems. Minecraft, compared to this, has a way more blocky building System, is way less detailed and not comparable at all. Your comparison doesnt make any sense at all. Other Games like Conan or Ark (with mods) dont even reach the amount of detail you are able to get by building in This game. This building System is truly revolutionary. And i know what i am talking about because i have build in many games and focused a lot on detailing and am trying to push building Systems to their limits. In terms of flexibility and what you can create This one is outstanding. When it comes to the survival genre. It has many Survival Aspects therefore its Survival too. Its not a "hardcore survival" where you are forced to eat and drink all the time. There are plenty of survival Games where you are not forced. Of course there are some hardcore survival games, but these are not the only ones that are allowed to be in the "Survival Genre". This Genre consists of a many different mechanics and many are part of the current Version of Enshrouded. Regarding your "the game is made for ppl who do not, or, have never, played a building survival game"...This sentence makes me believe you are trolling or just simply hating on a Game you dont know anything about.
