I’ve been studying Italian via KZbin and the 501 Italian verbs I purchased on eBay. I find it some easy as I’m fairly fluent in Spanish (for a non-native Spanish speaker) and I can get by in French (can understand better than I can speak it). However, the thing with Italian is that many people speak really fast making it somewhat difficult to understand. And, when practicing, I inadvertently use Spanish and French words.

Interesting, The Houston consulate makes no distinctions as to why you might want to request the codice fiscale. Just that you fill out the form, choose only the code, include all of the support paperwork to the consulate in houston. And then wait. Maybe the form presents a list of "reasons".
