I’m currently addicted to the BF109-F2 for some reason. It seems to outclass the F4 in every way except for guns and a slight speed increase. But for BR 3.0 the F2 really holds up

I really liked the F2 a lot, it was the first plane I went RB with. But I prefer late 109s, and after trying out the 190D I completely forgot how to K4/g2 but yet put good fights on the Dora. I've won a dogfight against a N1K with it, reversed a lot of people, but yet I really dislike air RB because it's very hard to get dogfights with late aircraft so I just duel people

First of all, I'm so happy you gave that AF AAA abuser a proper slap on the a55. Bf 109 F1, when it was 2.3, used to be the ultimate sealclubber. Nowadays for quick and easy kills I use Yak-2 KABB, but I still enjoy F1 a ton. Is A-35 really that bad? Oh boy, after Me-410 B1 (4.0 BR, inferior in every way to basically anything it faces) I think I'll enjoy it anyway :D And yeah, Pay2Winshkin's P-39N is the bane of my existence, good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't enjoy facing it - and I remember a month where P-39N was on a sale and in the following weeks it was basically never-ending P-39N spam with Soviets decimating everyone.

I love all of the Bf109's, The enture German tech tree is generally very good. Unfortunately the typical German player is.... Underwhelming. Germany suffers from German teams.

I think teams of all major nations (and mostly the teams of minor nations too), at lower tiers are in general terrible. But usually while american planes are pretty strong they require boom and zoom and thinking about what you are doing, while german planes at lower tiers are just easy to use the 109f1, f4 g2 are much easier to play for a braindead noob than a p47, p51 or p63, even though those planes are great.

@@rm2569 Eh. I dont know. I was a 109/190 main and got a average of 3-5 kills a match, I switched to USA and all through around 1.7-6.7 I absolutely clubbed with most games being atleast an ace. I got to the P-47,51 and 39K and absolutely stomped everything. Super beefy engines, high speeds, and freedumbs being the most devastating guns in the game lead to the US being the easiest tree for me to work on.

Can you show us some more Bf 109 dogfights where you are at an energy disadvantage? Seeing what you do against a biplane when you have a huge energy advantage is not as educational as seeing you destroy that I-16 for example, where you had a damaged engine and roughly equal energy. Also being dived on when in a Bf 109 is the only situation in which I don't really know how to consistently win.

You can set large and small caliber guns as separate inputs in the controls menu. If you use a HOTAS or controller, you can also set them as a an axis, so partially squeezing the trigger fires MGs and pulling it the rest of the way shoots cannons too.
