I dont know if i asked this before. When you fan the gun. Do you hold the trigger or do you need to let the trigger go each time the hammer strikes?

Yeah the holster and gun have been so modified as to be beyond any practical or era correct use/design, and it's as you said like a dragster designed to do only one thing. But I'd be satisfied using a stock Vaquero and a normal holster and maxing it out, keeping in practical function and use.
@CiskoMasterGunfighter7 жыл бұрын
Lifted_Above the thumbing shot was done with a Vaquero, live ammo capable and the holster was competition legal, I did both shots to show the difference

Cisko! Have you ever tried and of these fast draws with lead ammo?
@CiskoMasterGunfighter7 жыл бұрын
Brandon Rodrigues tks for asking, pls go to my you tube channel (ciskomastergunfighter) most of what I do is with live ammo, I feel it gives the shot more validity, I DON'T RECOMMEND TRYING IT

So using a non are rigged with a non air firearm you were able to get an insanely Fast Draw wow shooting for all intents and purposes stage ammo at a man size target hitting it it the thigh or stomach. Do it for real with live ammo, with a standard error correct rig and Pistol and actually hit the target in the vitals or better known as the A zone. I'm not taking away from your accomplishment I'm just saying do it with real gear and pull off an actual solid shot.

Take a look at my card splitting shot, done with. 45cal, live ammo, or axe vs Gun, also done with live ammo.Taking your time and getting a sight picture ,can be done by a lot of people, look at Bow vs Bullet, that's a 50 yard shot from the hip after launching an arrow with .38cal live ammo, maybe those shots will be more to your liking

@@reds7vn644 with both thumbing and twisting it was within the first 4 or 5 rounds, and frankly I believe I can do them both faster, tks for asking

@@CiskoMasterGunfighter that's cool. I just come from a military background 20 years retired with seven years of active law enforcement 14 total. I'm one that if you're going to shoot you shoot with the intent that every realm hits the intended impact Zone. Meaning I don't care how fast somebody can put off six rounds and it just hits the target or those six rounds exactly where you intended them to go. Like I said I just don't understand or I should say I don't have the patience for trick shooting in my opinion and that's all it is is an opinion it's a novelty and it can get people to focus off of real-world practical shooting. What you do and the speeds, they are impressive I'm not going to take that away. I doubt I could do it. Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions.

@@reds7vn644 I can help elaborate a bit. He is very humble and well know in the sport. You mentioned his accuracy. He set world record of .291 or 291ms at 14 feet on a 17 inch target with a visual reaction NOT an audible! (Very crucial point, you only draw a gun legally by visual threat) Bullet only travels 800 feet per sec to stop the clock on impact, so even with travel time his shot is finished before an average person can simply process what they are looking at and begin to start their gun draw. You mentioned practical shooting? 70 to 80 percent of self defense is close quarters requiring a close combat draw. He has one the fastest in the world and has no problems surviving knife attacks and 2 leg take downs in real life simulations. Lots of cops get stabbed and cut being in bedrooms where they can't get off the X. However some of them who develop something fast enough to be successful have very similar techniques as he does to survive every encounter. A lot of swat members and tier 1 people love this sport because it works their brain and close combat arm movements good. But this sport is much faster than what is needed for a close combat scenario. It is for fun and exhilaration and you get a experience very similar to what a race car driver has, where they say time slows down as their brains speed up. But you don't have to buy a fancy car or risk your life. This is for people chasing speed and having fun the same as any other sport. Nothing practical about golf, baseball or basketball... just fun and people respect the athleticism. This sport is hours of fun and for any age with good safety observations. Older men never lose their reflexes and do develop more Neurogenesis as they keep practicing and untonomic response. This man's athleticism by visual reaction time and twice muscle speed is a real marvel!
