I know there should be no difference between guy gamers and girl gamers, but being a girl, I will say I feel like I can just connect so much more quickly with a group of girls playing a game, you know. I know some people are just like, "I'm a gamer, doesn't matter which gender" and I'm with them on that. Its just, I've never had a group of friends who are all girls playing a game together, and even watching this, I feel connected in a different kind of way. Does that make sense? Hopefully, I'm not the only one

No, it's totally understandable. Nothing weird or embarrassing about it. Some people make connections differently than others and that's totally natural. If it's how you connect, then more power to you! It's great, you're not crazy, it's totally natural. Besides, Buns and her friends have amazing chemistry together. So it's like putting butter on a bun. So yeah, we can all relate in some way or another! You're not alone. :)

I think, even as an obscenely old gay man, there's a huge difference between how quickly I'll settle into liking what someone's doing depending on who they are, and who they are often influences how welcoming or exclusive they are, and it's no accident that the male streamers I follow are largely gay, trans or stream with women a lot. That said, Buns is enormously talented and built her channel on literally welcoming people to all the things she loves, so there's a natural vibe there too
